Great diner food at its finest. It’s always great food here. I love the CFS, and the patty melt the best. My husband always gets ‘the bird’ a yummy turkey grilled sandwich. Reasonable prices won’t break the bank. The best value here is the breakfast sandwich. I love stopping by here to pick it up for an on the go delicious breakfast.

Supernova !!
A hidden gem of a place in Carmichael/ CH area. It’s tucked in a corner. Food was excellent, service was lightening fast and great ambiance. We were a big group but they accommodated us and served us very quick…everyone was happy with their order. They serve breakfast all day!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my hamburger at Hungry Hollow. I can say without hesitation that this hidden treasure of a restaurant serves the best, most perfectly cooked french fries in comparison to any other place I’ve ordered fries at. I don’t like fries that are even slightly soggy or oily. My Hungry Hollow fries were plentiful and served with just the right amount of crispness. It’s 8:00 AM as I’m writing this and I could eat some Hungry Hollow fries for breakfast!

A very strong 4 star restaurant. Environment is pleasant and service was great. Servers were nice and checked up on us often. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken and it was delicious! The gravy they use is one of the best! It was the perfect blend of flavors. My over easy eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. The country potatoes were a little burnt and small cut but still good. Overall, I had a fantastic breakfast here and would definitely come back. I highly recommend it.

The food and service were spectacular. However, and I mean this in a nice way, maybe the creepy grinning hillbilly statue should go. And I bet if you painted the walls a nice sage or blue, it really would pep up the decor.
