We were a party of four. I ordered stuffed haddock, it was good but not exceptional. Our server was insecure about her job and kept telling us over and over “I’m new, I”m not sure about this or that”. She was totally unfamiliar with the menu. We all ordered main entrees on the menu, and we all had dishes for rolls. We asked this server for rolls and butter several times and she kept saying she’d have to check and see if we could have rolls with our dinner. Meanwhile all the tables around us were given a basket of fresh rolls and butter. The other tables had a different server. I”m not sure if we’ll ever go back to West Wind.

Very nice atmosphere. The server, Katelynn, was very professional and friendly. We both had the crab stuffed shrimp and it was AMAZING!! Best stuffed shrimp either if us has ever had!! Deliciously rich but not overwhelming. Fair prices on beer, too.

Nice place, but avoid the expensive Sunday buffet – better and more options a la carte. Full dinner menu available too. Wasn’t busy 11 am Sunday morning – but it was about to be as staff rushed around trying to build a table for 20 ! Owner was the sole wait staff – others had failed to turn in.

Expensive. We got the breakfast buffet and everything was cold and hard. Food took almost 2 hours and they ran out of sweet potato fries. It was almost 40 dollars for a salad and nasty cold buffet food.

I think this place has the best burgers and wings in St. Marys. Sitting on the deck watching the planes take off and land with a cold beer and a burger is pretty great! The service can be a little bit slow at times, but that’s mostly because it’s a small town with limited staff available sometimes. If you’re in a rush you may need to consider that, but otherwise this place is one of our favorites!
