After our Memorial Day BBQ this evening, we went to DQ for dessert. The teenagers working behind the counter were really courteous and well-organized, and we thought it was quite clean. They were delighted to respond to our queries about a few of their menu items. We had a great time with our ice cream and want to return.

I take my daughters and nieces here every time it rains. It’s a weird tradition, but now when when my nieces come over they tell me it’s raining even if it’s sunny out. They tell me it’s invisible, but we still have to go to DQ to keep up the tradition.

Never will I go to this Dairy Queen again. I came in there with my 2 baby nieces and the cashier behind the counter looked so angry to serve me. He was just staring at us with a disappointed look as if he didn’t want to serve us. He treated the white people before us with kindness though. I suspect he might have had some racist tendencies, but he ruined my experience there for good. Never again. Learn to serve everyone equally with the same respect and kindness you show everyone else, regardless of their color.

I ordered the 4 pc Chicken & Waffle that included fries. It was really good. The downfall of this visit was how the Cashier acted. Anyone could tell this Teen did not want to be here. While waiting on another customer in front of me she received a text on her cell phone and answered it in front of us. I get its not a glamorous job but a learning experience and she’s making some money. Most likely she’ll have to work some sort of job the rest of her life. She didn’t smile at any customer the whole time I was there and spoke in a low uncaring tone. If not for the teen boy that was working there I would have rated this experience lower.

Went to get some take out here around 730ish. 3 people working here looked like one was training on register. Didn’t see anyone here wearing gloves during any of the food handling. Employee handed us a blizzard without gloves and hands covered in chocolate ice cream. And also prepared it without gloves, the lid of the blizzard was also wet for some reason. Never was given our drinks that came with our meals. No hats or hairnets was being worn. This looks like it could be some critical sanitation issues. Staff was friendly, one with longer hair did do his best to lead. But looks like a training issue.

Poor service, pricey, $7.00, for med “hot fudge Sunday” , all she did was plopped fudge on top of vanilla ice cream, which tasted sour! Trashed after one taste.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. My gf has been getting random ads for the $5 chicken tender basket which supposedly includes texas toast and white gravy. I kept telling her it wouldnt have the toast or gravy just like the last time this happened like 5 years ago. I told her to call and ask before we wasted our time. She didnt call but said went on the collegeville website where it did in fact have it with the toast and gravy. (Just checked and while it dosnt explicitly say this location carries it, it certainly gives you that impression. I’m attaching the screen shots) So I caved and we headed over. Ordered and sat. They brought it out and boom! Strips and fries. Not surprised tho. Staff, food and environment were fine otherwise. Just sucks.
