I was very surprised by this place. Got a chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad. The Sandwich had a ton of meat on it and it was tender. Potato salad was pretty good too. Tasted homemade. Also, the older gentleman at the register was really kind and upbeat. I would definitely go back.

We got the Big Boy Sampler with Fried Zucchini and Fried Okra. We didn’t get to try the ribs because they were out, so we substituted Chopped Brisket for the ribs. The sides were great, and the meat was excellent. The sauce was very good, and they gave us just enough for our family (two medium containers filled 2/3 of the way).

We had high hopes for this BBQ from the reviews. Either we had a bad day or this is the worst bbq I’ve eaten. With the service, you can’t complain about it cause there isn’t any. Meat was very dry, tasteless, rough, and smelled musky. We kept hearing the microwave running and go off like the meat was being reheated, as it wasn’t fresh, which it definitely didn’t taste fresh. Walmart has better sliced brisket than this place. We came home and threw it away. Prices were double than what these pictures show online. Very disappointing.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. They have really, really good BBQ at very reasonable prices. Ever since BBQ became so en vogue, the prices have shot through the roof and places have sought to justify their high prices with specialty items. These guys stick to the basics: good quality meat, slow smoked with the right seasonings and charge a fair price for it all.
