Hate to say this but I don’t think I’ll visit again. Used to be a great spot but the past few visits have disappointed. Buffet price increased significantly, but a lot of the food is cold and clearly not fresh. I want to assume that they’re struggling financially, not just complacent. If they’re having a hard time staying in business, they really need to get rid of some of their menu options to focus on keeping popular options hot and fresh. They make you pay/tip before you eat too which is really weird because you have no idea if you’re going to get good service. They also took my plate with my fork without asking so I guess they decided I was not allowed to eat more after my second (little) plate.

Every time we go the food is great and a great selection. Plates, utensils and tables are always very clean. Fresh food is always being brought out and tables being cleaned. I have a mixed family and have never had a problem with other patrons being rude to us.

They were completely disrespectful and I found black flakes in my drink sitting on the ice, and they asked everyone else in there if they wanted refills but never asked me and my boyfriend.. very disappointed, they used to be so good…

I used to enjoy eating here, but in the past year my family and I have had bad experiences. Last night they wouldn’t give me $20 worth of change because they mis counted. I had to recount the money for them and explain to get my change. Another day they cleared my plate when I was literally still eating off it! I said “excuse me I’m not done with that” the woman looked at me and grabbed another plate off our table that was also not done and walked off. So we just left after that because she and another woman came over and finished clearing our table (we were there for 30 min). Also the food has been upsetting everyone’s stomach.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. this place has changed dramatically since COVID. it was never a nice place, or clean, but it was cheap, the food was good and staff was decent. nowadays, it’s extremely expensive, poorly run, staff is very rude and the food is horrible. Been going here since I was a child. The previous and new owners have always been great. Whenever I visit Vermont I make sure I go here and take a few to go boxes home. The quality of food and flavor has always been what keeps me coming back. I’d definitely recommend giving this buffet a try! Go around lunch time or dinner when they’re extra busy and the food gets stocked up frequently which results in fresh and piping hot continuous food. If you ever go when they’re not that busy you can always request that they make some more of your favorites and they will make it fresh for you.
