I came here expecting greatness and left feeling very mid about the restaurant. The space is curated for country songs loving folks, and unfortunately, I don’t like country music. The food was lacking in flavor. The guacamole needed more salt and spice. The mushroom tacos needed less salt and more spice. Sad that this place didn’t quite hit the spot for me.

Flavor! Ceviche and BR Nachos are over the top. We needed this spot for quality, clever & delicious dining out option. Super tidy, super friendly, super nice outside dining too. Love the whole vibe and the folks who make it happen.

Our FAVORITE spot for lunch! Great tacos, love the salads and their bone broth is so yummy. Everything is SO fresh. Total bonus is they have the best customer service. Can’t wait to go back again and again!

This was my first time here after a friend recommended meeting here for lunch. I love Mexican food but mainly only eat it in Mexico because I get disappointed in many US establishments. I was very impressed with the taste of these tacos. I ordered the smoked beef brisket, crispy fish and black rooster asada. I enjoyed all of them. I think my favorite was the brisket taco. They also had so many great tea options that I had to try one. I went with the Hibiscus Orange Black Tea, Mexico. It was refreshing without being too sweet. The staff was super friendly and attentive and asked how the meal was going and offered to refill our tea as soon as they noticed that they were empty. It was an all-around great experience.

Good Tacos, my favorite was the achiote pork of the ones I had. They don’t skimp on the meat here. Everything was good and freshly made. Definitely going back to this one.

First time here and was great. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was 100% on point. The queso was a but on the watery side for my taste. But the flavor was there. The tacos were awsome. The set up of ordering is not what you would expect…. you walk right in the door and order so anyone behind you is standing outside or packed up to you. So does not flow well. Food 100% must go. Set up could use work. Have no problem going back or telling people to go here…. just could have used a little more thought on room flow when built.

Amazing fresh twist on Mexican flavors. Their tacos are so yummy, add a little of their hot sauce and flavors explode! Guacamole is a perfect chunkiness yet creamy. Amazing. My New Mexican favorite.

This place is amazing and a must go if you are in orlando. We ordered the chicken tinga, black rooster asada, crispy fish, shrimp and chorizo, carne asada tacos. SO FRESH. Meat was tender. Fish was delicious and crispy. All packed with flavor. Highly recommend the chicken tinga. We also got their guac and chips which were just as great. Chips not stale at all and had such a good bite and their guac was made perfectly. AND THE POZOLE VERDE. oh my gosh. The meat was tender. Breaking apart with just a touch. The soup it sits in is so hearty and yet feels light. Almost felt I was being healthy.

This awesome taco spot is definitely in the running for top 5 in the Orlando area. Very fresh ingredients and the food came out quick! Two tacos was plenty of food but I could’ve easily eaten four. If you like black beans make sure to order a side of them when you go. The black beans are very unique here. My favorite taco was definitely the carne asada. This spot deserves 5 stars and I’ll be back soon!

We just went to Black Rooster Taqueria in their new location on Curry Ford Road in Orlando. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! If you’ve been to their original location on Mills Ave, then you already know that they are TOP NOTCH. Chef John Calloway and his team have created beautiful flavors and textures with each dish. Truly authentic latin cuisine and super fresh ingredients. I never feel like anything is processed food, and I can usually instantly tell after I eat something processed. Incredible product, menu, prices and ambiance. And this location is triple the size as the first location, including an outside HUGE area to relax. See pics below… some are for a brunch that they are starting in January for Sat/Sun. We got the sneak peak and between the drinks and food, this is a MUST HAVE for brunches! Love Black Rooster and the owners and management team are incredibly great human beings.
