My Mother and I stopped in for 2 caribou coffees, the iced FaLa Latte and the blended carmal high rise with an extra shot of expresso and extra whip. They were unfortunately not up to the normal standards of caribou coffees, and if we were still in town we would have returned to rectify the situation.

I’ve been struggling with how to rate this because I love Caribou. I always stop by in the morning on the way to work to grab coffee and food. But for some reason the last couple of months there’s been something wrong with the drinks. I don’t think the recipe has changed, so I think it’s the way they’re being made. For example, today I picked up a hot campfire mocha. It lacked flavor and was extremely watery. There was no whip or marshmallow. This is the fourth drink in a row I’ve thrown out because it’s too watery. I don’t want my money back. I just want non watery coffee.

We really enjoy the drinks here at the St. Joe location. Service has always been excellent. Sometimes a bit slow but what line at a coffee shop isn’t. We’ve seen a change in the employees and miss some of the old familiar faces as they were super nice. The newer ones I guess we will get used to as time passes. Disappointed that they have done away with the BOGO happy hours.
