Overall the food was good. We ordered vegan items, in my opinion, the dishes are a bit overpriced as the portions were small. The falafel could be bigger pieces. The fried green tomato was worthy. The wild mushroom dish was plain as was the presentation. As one who forages for wild mushrooms, I expected more. The fritter dish was very flavorful yet the fritters themselves were slightly dry. I can see people going for the ambiance. Before being seated, we were pretty much ignored as service was slow at the door. Table service was good.

We were so happy that we went to Scallions while we were in Saratoga Springs. The food tasted fresh and healthy, like a home cooked meal. The spinach artichoke bread is so good with the warm naan bread. My husband had the chicken and mushrooms, and I had the special of the day which was pasta and pesto with a tomato sauce. Everything was great, including the service. I appreciated the vegetarian options. The staff worked together to take care of tables, which ensured that all customers were helped. Great place.

So good! I am still raving about this salad two days later. Mixed greens with shrimp as big as my head! Goat cheese, walnuts, beet vinaigrette, oh my! Can’t wait to return to try their famous French Onion soup. Hostess was absolutely delightful and waitstaff was awesome!

I had the day off from work for my birthday and I knew it must have been an amazing place when it was packed during lunch on a Tuesday! I had heard of Scallions from a vegan group (I am vegetarian), and I got the falafel wrap which I loved!! For dessert my wife and I shared their malted chocolate caramel pie, and I was excited to see they had non-alcoholic beer!! I have seen it sold in stores but never in restaurants. We just had a lot of time in between finishing our plates/ being given the dessert menu, and then again getting the check. They are a very busy place though, so while I am putting down 4 stars I want to ensure people know I really think it is a great place to check out. Also definitely make a reservation no matter the time or day! We still did not wait long regardless though.

We eat only here on every trip to Saratoga. We love this restaurant. I always get the Sesame Tuna because I just love it. I have promised to get something different on our next trip. The wife has had everything on the menu and has never been disappointed.

We started with Scallions flat bread, with caramelized onions, artichokes, olives, melted Havarti cheese, arugula and balsamic dressing. Followed by Quinoa salad and I had the Rueben panini. Fantastic flavors in all of the lunches. The salad that came with Rueben was fresh, crispy and crunchy. Not that we needed desert, we chose the Red Velvet cake, better than Mon ever made. Sorry mom. Asia our waitress was very helpful with the menu and provided fast and courteous service.

Went for dinner. The menu had many vegan and gluten free options; however, still serves non-vegan dishes. The atmosphere was okay and was very basic. The service was excellent. Our waiter was wonderful and the busboy made sure our waters were filled and dishes were moved once all were finished eating. Food came out in a timely manner. Drinks were good. We ordered two Gnocchi dishes, Cod, and scampi. All of the dishes were great. None of them were bad, none exceptional, but, we agreed that if we had ordered other menu items that it would’ve been much better. For example, instead of the gnocchi I would now prefer to order their mushroom dish. Prices were good, around $24 a main dish. Each main comes with a salad and naan, which is a great idea.

Came here for lunch on a Friday, the place was packed, so I suggest to call and make a reservation. I ordered a salad which was tasty. I mostly saw salads being served. My husband ordered a sandwich and he said it was good.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful customer service! They have indoor and outdoor seating available, and they take orders to go. They have very reasonable prices and a pretty decent menu. The establishment is very clean and sanitary as well as cozy and quaint. I will be back.
