Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for some pre-game bites and beers. No problem grabbing a seat but it was fairly busy. Good tap selection, limited menu on game days. I had the meatballs while my companions had a calzone and the chicken fingers. Everything was really good! Would stop in again next time.

Great place to get a bite to eat or “hydrate.” It got pretty busy as it got closer to game time. The bartenders were great and made sure everyone was taken care of. I love the brick basement vibe of the place. The baked meatballs were amazing. Definitely on my list to go back again!!!

Love it!! Killer pizza. Great staff – super friendly. Tried ordering online, had trouble, called and they hooked it up! In a great part of pioneer square. Local beers on tap and some friendly folks hanging out inside!!

My husband has really fond memories of this place from a decade ago, so when a friend came into town late on a Thursday night train, we suggested King Street because it was near the station.

This place was pretty good. The bartender was excellent as he was also doubling as a server. The beer that we had and was recommended was very light and refreshing as it was very hot outside that day. We ordered the King Street calzone and it was really good. Could have used a little bit more salt I guess in the sauce but maybe we didn’t need it so we were pleased. Plenty of screens around everywhere. We will be back if we are in the area again.

Yesterday, we visited King Street Bar and our experience was marred by an incredibly unwelcoming and hostile bartender.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. And for what it’s worth, this is my first negative online review ever.

We were looking for a place to get a quick beer. After asking for the Seattle Semi-Sweet and being told they only had Seattle Semi-Dry (which doesn’t exist), I was denied service because I did not know the expiration date of my ID (which I learned is 4 years away). I’m in my late 30’s, well past the days of needing a fake ID. It not a case of over-service, as I had not had ANYTHING to drink before getting there.

Right near the King Street Station is this quiet dive bar that can easily be mistaken for Cheers (if your old enough to remember the show.)

I had THE RUDEST server in between the mariners and sounders game on Saturday. We asked if we could move outside and verified 2 times and then our drinks never came outside for 30 minutes, when I went in to check she was very very rude saying I needed to communicate and that she didn’t know where we were sitting. That wasn’t the bad part. She asked if we wanted another drink, I said sure but can you get me the correct drink this time and she realized my last one wasn’t correct she offered a free drink, which I never saw. Then 30 more minutes go by, we never received another drink, I went to the server to get my card and pay and she rang my card up without me looking at the bill, she charged me for 3 drinks, 3 beers, and a pop after having one drink one beer and a pop. THEN I SAID THIS IS WAY MORE THEN WE EVER RECIEVED ABD SHE YELLED AT ME INFRONT OF THE WHOLE BAR FULL OF PEOPLE THAT NO I DIDNT I HAD A BUNCH MORE DRINKS. I literally couldn’t believe I was being talked to like this. I will be contacting the manager but beware of that server.
