The pulled pork sandwich is simply terrific. However, the stand out on the menu to me is the marinated coleslaw with poppyseeds that is just simply divine. The baked beans are also exceptionally good. Highly recommended!

Great food. We were visiting the area and stumbled across Moe’s and so glad we did. A wonderful experience all around. Had a pulled pork sandwich which was melt-in your mouth good. My sides were creamed spinach and potato salad….excellent. Love finding these gems where locals go.

Awesome BBQ, Not your run of the mill BBQ joint with over priced bland meat. Everything we had was great with decent size portions. The catfish and chicken wings were some of the best I’ve had. Outdoor patio with a good view.

Great southern BBQ in the Colorado Mtns. The food is based on the cuisine of the Alabama Gulf Coast. BBQ, chicken, Fried shrimp and fish. This is the food I grew up on so I’m a little biased. Moe’s met the challenge. The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was delicious, the sides were on point. Greens, Mac and cheese, the usual fare, done right! The Cole slaw was my favorite. Vinegar based, not mayo. The corn bread was heavenly. There were some delightful locals at the bar and Dave, our host was awesome. The only downside is that the bar is not full service. They have a excellent beer selection, pretty good wine list and a variety of liquors but only mix basic drinks. That being said, don’t let that keep you from visiting Moe’s in Steamboat Springs.

Damn good BBQ. Ribs and pulled pork were juicy and hot. The sauce was spicy and had a good taste. The only thing that was bad was the banana pudding. Texture was weird, and the flavor was not good. Just skip the banana pudding and enjoy the delicious BBQ. The atmosphere was a little strange since the bar patrons stared at u the whole time

A BBQ joint out of pork?!?! Weird! Well I wanted the pulled pork sandwich, which that wasn’t an option. Option 2, go for the wings. They were large and tasty-dry rub-just needed to order an extra sauce. No option for French fries, so option 2 was Mac and cheese. It was not so good, do not recommend. Mushy noodles with oily cheese. Thirdly, a mediocre smoked chicken sandwich. Good thing there is a good brewery across the parking lot to wash all the food down.

How can this place only have 4.4??? That’s ridiculous because this place is THE BEST BBQ. There’s another bbq place in town that has your typical bland smoked meat. It’s so hard to understand how some bbq places can smoke such bland meat. But NOT Moe’s. I’ve also had ribs other places that are over seasoned. But NOT Moe’s. These were perfectly seasoned and fall off the bone tender!!! YUM. Don’t even give it a second thought — THIS is the BBQ you want.

Really great service. I asked for “hot wings” which is not a menu item, and when they brought out hot links they didnt make a big deal about swapping them out for wings. 100% my bad, but they hooked it up anyway.
