Spicy, flavorful, strong flavors unique dishes. Order with QR code. A little tricky to order without pics and the translation isn’t completely accurate. Inside is nicely decorated. Got the sour fish extra ten bucks for the snakehead fish fillet as recommended by the staff. String beans. Spicy lamb. And house noodles. Would return.

Authentic Chinese food from the Hunan region. This is great for those that enjoys either spicy or sweet & sour taste profiles. Good taste and decent portion. Food is prepared quickly with complimentary tea and side dishes (roasted peanuts & homemade kimchi). Rice has to be individually ordered.

Paid tips in cash and they still charged me an extra $5 on my credit card. $5 tip for a $30 meal is more than 15%. Boss refuses to admit his mistake, claiming he checked the camera which is completely irrelevant. They saw we were students and took advantage. Had to call my bank to dispute that charge. Shouldn’t even tip them at all.

Lotus Cafe is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was incredible and this restaurant has some VERY excellent cook’s wow they know what their doing in the kitchen! I have been to many Chinese restaurant’s throughout the Bay Area and this one is by far one of the best one’s that I’ve ever been too. This place makes authentic Chinese food as good as the Chinese restaurant’s I’ve been to in Hong Kong! The only reason I don’t give them 5 star’s is because they don’t make my favorite Chinese dish in the world my must have “Schezwan Prawns”(please add to your menu and I will give you 5 stars and buy them every week ). Bravo Lotus Cafe you have a new loyal lifetime customer, I will definitely bring more of my family and friend’s! You score a 4/5. 9/10. A

Wow. Simply wow. Food was amazing! Absolutely the best chinese Food I’ve had in a long time. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were seated about 30 min before closing. Lots of delicious items on menu to choose from. Food arrived fast. Beef chow mein was delicious. Best I’ve had. The Szechuan beef and crispy tofu was seriously amazing! The perfect blend of jalepeno and red pepper flavor. The wontons in chili oil were yum! The broth had a hint of coconut and creamy. The honey walnut prawn were shockingly perfect! Creamy sweet sauce, crunchy batter, candied walnuts. Wow! You MUST stop in for a meal. You won’t regret it!! I live in Marin and will definitely make the drive for a meal.
