The food is OK… but fat from great .. I got a skirt stake… it was not well grilled.. it remained chewie.. hard to eat. The plantains were fine … the rice with veggies was 97 rice… veggies were more a theory… still the juices are ok.. still, I can’t say that I will recommend this place… See my Facebook page for more .

This food lives up to all the hype and this is the reason for the 5 stars. I saw the store front on the side of the road on our way to the Everglades and insisted that we try it. OMG – it was amazing. Cafeteria style service, and clean, clean, clean, super fresh and flavorful. The take out containers were heaped with food. I ordered a “completo” with oxtail, yucca and a mixed rice. My husband, a container of lechón and a bag of the most delicious chicharrón. We were blown away. I couldn’t finish and we brought it back to the hotel for dinner. We will be back for juices, sandwiches, and those desserts – wow! We sat in a small area outside. I didn’t see any indoor tables.

My favorite place to go for Cuban food in Miami. They’re fresh guava pastries and Cuban coffee makes for a great quick breakfast to grab in the morning on the way to work too But be advised that for the most part they don’t speak English so be prepared to point and smile if you can’t speak Spanish.

Another Cuban/Latin Eatery in Miami. Good food, Great Juices. Everything clean, Food looks and tasted Amazing. But the young woman behind the counter wasn’t friendly. No smile. I felt like she was thinking: Give me your order and get out. Latin Eateries are usually very friendly. They want you back. I may give it another shot when I’m back in that area, but she won’t be serving Me.

First time trying Cuban food! The chicken plate I ordered came with tons of onions which I loved. The black beans and white rice paired perfectly together. The portion size was definitely large. Our waitress only spoke Spanish, but we were able to order without any issues. The menu has pictures and translates the plates in English. I highly recommend this place.
