We went went when they first opened. The temperature of the food was warm, not hot, so I think it comes pre-packaged. They left off a couple of sides. Thankfully, we were close by, so we went back and got the items. The food tasted really good, I had fries as a side, and it was enough for 4 people. The food tasted even better the next day.

Stopped in on a Sunday evening not long before closing time. There was only 1 other family here yet I was warmly greeted and the friendliest waitstaff took my order. I chose Burnt Ends, BBQ Beans and Onion Rings. A few moments later my food was ready and delivered to my table. While all was very good, this wasn’t the barbecue I expected or had many times before at the Kansas City Gas Station location. The Burnt Ends reminded me of a pot roast with some extra char on the outside. The meat was fattier than it should have been and I longed for the chewy, crispy pieces I expect to receive with Burnt Ends. The beans? They were the star of the meal, and the onion rings were tasty as well. Location is clean, convenient, and has a nice vibe inside.

Service was spot on…..they made us feel like we should be there. Food was average. I had the burnt ends and the portion I got was 30-40% fat. Sauces were good. The hot had a bit of a “kick, but later”. I was excited to try the smoked corn….it came out so cold the butter didn’t melt. Overall, I’d give ‘em 1 more try.

I’ve visited a total of three times in the past two or three months, and each time, I was not disappointed. So far, my favorites are the burnt ends and mac and cheese. They also have some good thirst quenching iced tea, so that’s always a plus.

Great counter service, clean dining room, tidy bathroom— and pretty good food, too. This location is also convenient to major highways and the airport. It took us about 15 minutes to get food. I had the turkey salad, which had fresh spinach and lots of toppings, though more cheese would have been good. My son had a macaroni and cheese cup and fries, and especially loved the fries. My husband raved about those, too, and said the shredded pork, hot links, and fried okra were good, especially for fast food. This is only my second time eating at this chain and I’ve had positive experiences both times.

After the soap dispenser in the restroom spontaneously launched itself, and then exploded on landing, covering me from the knees down, I have to say the experience was pretty well ruined for me. After informing the employees that their restroom was ankle deep in soap, one might expect some sort of action taken. One would be disappointed. They didn’t clean it up, close the offending room, or even put up a freaking sign to warn other future victims of their failure to care. One might think they must have been terribly busy and unable to address the situation. Not so. They simply couldn’t be bothered. So I’m out $120 for my favorite pair of sandals and $50 for a mediocre meal. Did I mention we were 2 hours from home and my jeans were also soaked in cheap hand soap? Cause yeah, that was awesome. Visit at your own risk.

My husband is working in Jenks and I came to visit him. We are from the OKC area, and we decided that after going to Hard Rock, we were hungry. My husband was told to try this place from a coworker who is local to the area. The place was busy, but we got waited on fast. The service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean even though it was packed.

From the point of sale through the entire dining experience, was so much more than I expected. The brisket sandwich (The Q) was an amazing choice. Mmmm-hmmm good! Accessible, clean, and very friendly atmosphere. Check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
