I would like to start off by saying that the restaurant is very clean the staff is all super nice and the sushi was absolutely phenomenal. The kids teriyaki chicken is amazing it was very tender and flavorful. It was a perfect first Experience. It is also very Reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

I would say the sushi is pretty good, but the service and proximity to the beach really elevate the experience. It is easily walkable/bike able from many of the local rentals in Carolina Beach. They also have a full bar.

This was our second time visiting, because we really enjoyed the first visit. It was very busy for the weekend of the 4th, and I think they were short staffed. I don’t know our waiters name but he was great. We sat on the patio, with was a little crowded and tight. The chairs were very uncomfortable and should be replaced with something a little smaller to make room in the area, and a little more simple so you can move and not be so restricted. We wanted round 40 minutes on the appetizer and round 1hr and 15 minutes on our meal. But the food was perfect. Pretty big portions also. I recommend the orange peel chicken. Our server recommended it and it was amazing.

Great food. Fast efficient, reasonable price. There was three of us and we had starters, soup, salad, main meal, drinks including two carafe of sake for $75. If you are unsure of what to order get the bento box. It a great choice, good value and comes in sushi and sashimi versions.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly service and killer food! Our waiter, although I don’t remember his name, was fantastic. Skinny guy with long hair. Super attentive and so friendly. We went on Wednesday and today (Friday) for our last night in town, we are going again.

Came here on Friday evening for a late dinner. We arrived about 8:30 and the place was still packed. We got seated quickly. Not sure if waitress was new or just slow but everything seemed to drag out (or else it would be 5 stars) We both had a ginger salad and shared the Beach Bum roll (really good).

Sushi was really good. I was actually surprised. I just wish they were a little more flexible with substitutions.Drinks could come out a little faster, and waiting 10 minutes for a drink is pushing it, especially when it’s not that busy. For the most part, everything was good. I will definitely be back.
