Unique cuisine in Shippensburg. Lunch specials are a deal, but Pho lovers note there is no tripe or basil. Nice to hear a story how the waiter came from Vietnam from American soldiers helping out his father during the war.

This was my girlfriend and I’s first time to this restaurant and we were treated poorly immediately upon entering the establishment. We walked in and saw 2 cardboard signs about their soup options. The lady who greeted us walked in from the dining room and said, “Give me a minute”. No, “Hi how are you?” or “Please give me a moment”. Immediately rude. We were then seated in a horribly green dining room. Wall-to-wall pukey green. Not exactly helping my appetite. The entryway looked like an old pizza shop and the dining room looked as it did. I got the vibe that everything was just dirty. We then look at the menu and it is all soup. Nothing else. I am not familiar with Vietnamese food, but any restaurant should have more than 4 items on their menu. There were no appetizers, no entrees, no desserts….just soup. We made the executive decision to just walk out of the restaurant. I would never go back mainly based on how we were treated. You would assume a brand new business would be a little courteous to new customers.

my wife and I went in for dinner the other night and it was great! Although the menus is limited, they are just starting out and I’m sure more will be added, however the food on the menus is pho and it is done well. We will definitely be going back!

CASH ONLY! I pity the pho who doesn’t bring cash. I want to take away half a star for it but the pho is too good. In the past I’ve come here and they were closed down. Lucky they were open for business and I got to try their food. They speak very little English here, but they are very helpful and nice. Prices are great for the portions. The bathroom is in the nail shop joined to the resturant.

Pho in Shippensburg? Awesome. Great Pho, egg rolls, vermicelli dishes and Vietnamese coffee. They give you a bunch of food, and it is priced very well. I just hope it lasts. Shippensburg needs something besides bland, typical Asian fare.
