Located in a historic 100 year old train depot, The Depot Cafe offers an eclectic mix of freshly prepared foods. A variety of soups, salads and sandwiches are offered all day, and we also offer a dinner menu beginning at 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday and 11:00 am on Sunday. Homemade desserts are a specialty. Beer and wine is available Tuesday through Saturday.

Went there for a mother’s day dinner and everything was good. We started off with their stuffed mushrooms and it’s the best stuffed mushrooms I’ve ever had. Their Hungarian mushroom is also good. Basically we go for the mushrooms. We got the rib eye for two and it was delicious. Also had dessert and it was amazing. Their service was speedy and on point, I had no complaints. This is one of my favorite places to go to and I always recommend that everyone give it a shot.

This place is so good! I wish we had be able to come back for dinner. Everything was so cute and I love the historic features! My Turkey wrap was perfect for lunch. Our server was so nice and I’ve never had such good service before. We will be back!

We showed up and they seated us right away. Brought us our drinks and menus. We made our orders and the food came out quickly. My beef tips melted in my mouth and the rest of the meal was fabulous. I ordered a sweet tea for my beverage and the waitress refilled it for me every time she walked by. I would recommend you all going there and trying The Depot Cafe out

The food was amazing. The pretzels were the best I’ve ever had, even compared to Gus’s in St. Louis or Hotel Audubon. My mom ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered the railroad porkchops, both were great. I had the ceasar salad and she had the chipotle, cheddar potato soup, both really nice, but Gary brought us a sample of the beer cheese onion soup and that is definitely what we would get next time. I don’t normally even like onions and that was amazing. Atmosphere was a perfect balance to where it would be comfortable if you wanted to grab a burger and beer with friends or cute enough to go for a fancier dinner with a significant other. Our server was really friendly and answered all our questions. It was our first time there, but definitely not the last. Next time, we’re hoping to save room to try desert. Also, normally I take better photos, but the food looked soooo good, we went for it before I took a picture .
