The food was delicious and was served very quickly, our waitress, was not friendly and not patient with us to explain the food options. Any way, we enjoy eating there. Oh! almost forgot, the restrooms where not inside the restaurant, so for my mother, it was not confortable to go to the restrooms……

We love, love Masa! We come here just about every time we’re in Wausau. Consistently awesome! Fast and great service, awesome ambiance and outstanding food! The Mermaid Roll is my personal fave and love the Pocahontas, Lobster Roll..I could go on. The Udon is a favorite, crab rangoon and Gyoza is so good. Tuna Tower too!

Wow! Our 1st time here. Not too awful busy by 8:00 pm. Got right in. Had a Sweet server she was very cheerful. Nice atmosphere. Fast service! The seaweed salad, goyza, Godzilla & Ichibon rolls were absolutely delicious! We’ll be back!

The place looks cool. But the food was really expensive for the quality. Both rolls were kinda stale, almost like they had been made ahead and finished when we ordered. The unagi don was okay but really sweet. But everything was plated beautifully.

This was our first time here, we came from out of town for a getaway weekend in the area and chose to have dinner here tonight, so we made reservations. The restaurant’s interior decor and design captured my attention right away, it was visually ambient and upscale. We were greeted by the little young lady working the front desk, and the server came over and took us to our table right away. We ordered the California roll, Chicken Hibachi dinner, Chicken Katsu, and green tea mochi. We got our soup and salad, which were delicious starters. The California roll was perfect. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy, flavorful, delicious paired with the sweet chili sauce on the side and the sticky white rice. It’s one of my favorite dishes and this did not disappoint, they were spot on with how they make it. My partner’s chicken hibachi meal was fantastic, he was very satisfied with his meal. The green tea mochi was the last thing that came, and it was light and delicious topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles. The perfect dessert after all that we had. The server was wonderful, she checked on us consistently, and was very friendly and courteous. We appreciated it. We were very happy with our visit, everything was spot on and I would recommend this place, it’s a real gem, wonderful mom and pop restaurant!

Upon arrival on a Friday it wasn’t very busy. We were greeted nicely and were seated but not much after that. Noticed right away it was just too much stuff cluttering the bar area and took away from Masa. The place is decorated nicely but needs some cleaning and some $$ put into general repairs and lightning. I think Masa could look great again and attract a higher number of customers.
