My Ceddybear and I ordered the #7. He ordered the honey garlic and my order was the garlic. If I tell you that the both of us were pleasantly surprised of the amazing flavors it had. Although, they were out of calamari, I replaced it with fried oysters and the sauce with it had a nice spicy kick to it. We had a red and blue drink to go (sorry, can’t recall the name), it was good and strong . The music was another awesome addition. The best part were the awesome employees, (I should’ve gotten names) they made the short wait worth it!!! I will be returning!!!

Whenever I am in the Desoto area, one of my fav crab box restaurants is Krab Kingz. Located at the corner of Pleasant Run and Hampton, this is a must have experience. They feature varieties of crab and seafood boxes. One of the hidden treasures in this spot is the pasta dishes. They are full of sauce, meats and pasta! Every platter and box you get from Krab Kingz will be very heavy and can be eaten for 2 meals. Call ahead or use a good delivery app for prompt service. Great local spot!

I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about this restaurant and I went for the first time today and got the turkey necks. The turkey necks were not fresh. I could tell they were cooked days ago they were dry and had a old taste to them. My husband and say it is catfish and shrimp poboy was good, but I took my food into it in the trash. If you want to do turkey necks, make sure you ask for the ones that are freshly cooked and not the old ones. Also, they gave me one fat one, and the other one was really skinny not worth the money.

If you’re looking for an amazing black owned business that serves phenomenal food, then this is the place. The food is extremely fresh and the portion sizes are large. The gumbo and Turkey neck boil is amazing, but so is the shrimp and crab platter. So many wonderful options you can’t go wrong. The prices are even better and the atmosphere allows you to kick back, jam and enjoy your food and good company. Additionally, the customer service is beyond exceptional!
