We went for the first time this year and wondered how the food would be under the new ownership. We picked up a couple of salads and a cheese pizza and these were fresh and very tasty. We will be back!

Very sad what this place has become. The previous owners knew what they were doing and made amazing food. The new owners have ruined what once was along with the food. They forgot to put our food in, never apologized, the pizza was disgusting and burnt. Also had zero flavor. You can tell there is no thought or care going into food. Can see this place going downhill quick and possibly closing if the new owners don’t get it together. We will not be returning! Good luck!

Chicken fingers are great!! Pizza is pretty good. Thin crust with good sauce to cheese ratio. Our standard order is a large cheese and chicken fingers. Always good to eat in or takeout.

They were so busy on a summer Friday night that I had a hard time finding a place to park and once inside it was packed! They were telling people calling in orders that they would need an hour to get their orders.

You should post a big sign stating under new ownership! The previous owners were very rude!!! So I stopped going and ordering food. If I hadn’t read an article about new ownership I would have continued to boycott York house of Pizza. Just an FYI. We walked in with guests from out of town and were told rudely to leave because the owners were leaving. This is the second issue that occurred and there was no reason to be rude. I’m sure others had similar experiences.

I grew up eating here, and ever since I moved they have been the standard by which I measure pastrami sandwiches. I’ve had pastrami all over the country, including NYC, and nowhere else comes close. I went again yesterday and was nervous that with the new ownership maybe it wouldn’t be as good. OMG. It was amazing. It is the PERFECT pastrami sandwich. I would have taken pictures, but I was too excited.

Really good pizza! The owner is so busy answering phones, running payments, cutting pies, taking orders, training his only 2 (new)employees, dealing with impatient and rude customers who can’t see how hard he’s trying, on a busy Friday night. Credit to this guy. No one said it was easy but this guy is living his American dream. I would have tipped $100 if he had time to have me sign my credit card receipt. Give this guy your business. He’s a rockstar.

I thought the interior was okay. But they have an air conditioner! My kids enjoyed it since we did the Cliff Walk and they were hot and tired. The woman behind the counter let my kids use their Wifi. We ordered a large cheese pizza . I paid for it after we ate it. The man behind the counter forgot to charge me. He was surprised I came to pay for it. The pizzeria was very busy. The phone kept ringing. People were walking in placing orders. People came in to sit down and eat. I think there were only two people behind the counter.

Delicious fresh pizza ! The eggplant parmesan sandwich was my favorite though! Great service as well, very on point for being busy!
