I love to eat here every time I go to Corpus Christy. They’re very busy during the weekend although they have a lot of staffs. They didn’t give us our plates and missed out something but when you ask for anything, come out quickly with extra smiles. Food is great, good sashimi and decorative. Highly recommend.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. AYCE sushi is usually horrible. This place is better than others I have been to. Not great, just better. The texture of the fish was weird. The nori on the wraps were chewy. Which means the rolls have been sitting there a while. Which isn’t good since I got there when they opened. There was a thick, sticky, syrup type sauce in the first soy sauce bowl I had. Which makes the quality of dishwashing suspect. The pineapple fried rice and spicy garlic edamame were awesome. The service was good too. If you want GOOD sushi, go to a regular restaurant.

I walked in to this clearly busy restaurant and asked how long it would take to get a to-go order, I was offered a menu and told it would take very little time. I picked a bento box. It took maybe 10 minutes at most. The staff was very friendly. When I got the bag open I found a ton of delicious food, thoughtfully packed. It was about $20, so not cheap, but two could easily have eaten this. Most certainly a new favorite.

I highly recommend Umiya Sushi! I ordered the Bento Box, and it was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. I also ordered the “Tranquilizer,” a rum based drink, which is appropriately named. The menu is extensive and difficult to make a choice with so many exotic entrée s. I really appreciated our server, Noah. He was very attentive and eager to please! The atmosphere and decor were very pleasant. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I will definitely be returning!

Both a la carte and all you can eat available. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame – delicious with a nice heat to it. I called it a 2 on a 5 scale of heat whereas my husband called it a 3. We had the golden point, jalapeno yum, and crunch roll. The jalapeno roll had an initial lemon flavor. The jalapeno slices – we would have preferred 1/2 of the slice. The crunch roll was well made and had a creamy soft texture with a good flavor profile. The golden point was delicious. Service was friendly, nice, and quick. We will definitely come back.
