Stopped by DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks as I was driving through Bryan, Texas. I was waited on immediately upon entering the restaurant. Staff was pleasant and very helpful with the menu items. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I inquired about a gluten free crust and they offered a cauliflower crust which I ordered. The crust was thin and crispy crust with a good and satisfying taste. They make their own red sauce which was also very good. A small pizza with cheese, mushrooms and black olives was $11.91. Not a bad price!

Service was good but the pizza is just plain. The margherita pizza is just cheese pizza without sauce. The veggie pizza is okay, but they hit it hard with the olives. Really the only decent option is pepperoni and that one is fair. The crust is very bland. I don’t have any reason to come back or recommend over other pizza places in town.

I was really excited about trying this place but was disappointed. I really like CiCi’s so I figured this place would be on the same level if not better but not at all. The pizza has no flavor at all that I could taste. However, the service was great. The gentleman that rang me up was fantastic.

First night since they started doing a Wed. Buffet since covid so we figured we’d go try it out. It was busy but we were able to be seated immediately. They seemed to be busy with a lot of to go orders but they kept up with the dining room too. $15 including drink. I’d return.

Just no. This can barely be classified as pizza. Just because it’s round, looks red and has cheese on does not make it pizza. Nonetheless I had to try based on recommendations… they must not have liked me.

Love the pizza. Always fresh and hot. They have a different pizza of the month. They are always fabulous especially with the Mike’s Hot Honey. My personal go-to is the cheesy bread sticks. We don’t come here without getting at least one order sometimes up to 4 orders. You can’t go wrong with this place.
