Celebrated my husband’s 60th Birthday at the Blue Dog Saloon last night in the rainy weather but the food was FANTASTIC! It was our first time going here. The lady who catered our wedding Crystal moved restaurants and told us about this place. Glad i still keep in touch with her! DEFINITELY a hidden gem of a restaurant in Southern Maryland!! Our first time there and the food did not disappoint! Even the desserts were so mouth watering I took 2 home! Lol the chef of this place has been on the Food Network and the people/staff were friendly and not one table was empty it was completely packed! Luckily I made a reservation so we had a table but if you haven’t been here its probably the best restaurant I’ve been to where the food is fresh and tastes homemade! The 8oz crabcake was one of the best I’ve ever had! If it’s a packed house tho it will be a wait to get your food so make sure you’re full of good friends & conversations to keep the time rolling! Audrey was our waitress and did a great job! Glad to make memories with my family and we will definitely be back soooooon for more!

Great spot in the middle of a rural area. This place has great food, a nice bar area and a great setting. Nothing gourmet but solid and tasty menu food for a fair price. Try this Caesar pizza, basically Caesar salad on top of a pizza crust. Awesome

We went out to dinner on a Wednesday… not a full house by any means. It was almost an hour getting our food (a hamburger and fries )… service was extremely slow and it didn’t help matters that our server was constantly standing around talking. No apology for the delay in our food. I’m glad we didn’t order steak, we’d probably still be sitting there, waiting on it. The food is too pricey for the location…

It’s a cool spot, but not a place I would recommend or visit again. The food was meh and rather overpriced. The service was really slow as well, which honestly doesn’t bother me but the fact that we were ignored and had to ask another person for utensils and plates was kinda awkward.

1st time going here I was not disappointed. It was super busy. The hostess was great git us in. Blackened chicken mealwas fresh and delicious. The Rock fish meal was fantastic. I will definitely be back here again to try some more of the delicious menu.
