The food was average. The steak was bit well done for my taste. They did separate my puppusa, but they not lable them. For the money it wasn’t bad, just not the quality that I have had from other places.

Get their steak tacos. The tortillas are authentic and delicious. You can’t go wrong. You’ll thank me later 🙂 The staff are very friendly too!

This spot is open late. It’s no frills, just a local dive for working people. Speaking in Spanish is greatly appreciated. I still have to use Google translate cause I know 4 languages and they all try to cut in on the conversation. We ordered the tamales, lengua tacos, and the menudo! It was a bunch of fresh, hot food and a good price. I will definitely come here again!

Its more of a latin honky tonk type place, there is a stage with microphone, speakers, for bands another room has pool tables, loud music and the food wasn’t very good. We ordered takeout, crispy tacos, that weren’t that crispy, not too tasty, beef tongue taco, that I’m sure wasn’t tongue, some kind of overdose meat and baleadas, which are flour tortillas stuffed with beans, cheese, scrambled eggs, barely had anything in them, not enough condiments, so tasteless and we paid a dollar more to add beef, and it came without. I wouldn’t recommend for families with children.

When we went in the lights were off and they had chairs on the tables near the windows which almost made it looked like they were closing for the day.

I tried the fried fish, plátanos and yucca with chicharrón. The fish tasted and looked like it had been left under a heat lamp all day and was not fresh. The yucca and chicharrón were not good, yucca was tough— the chícharo was tough and not fresh. The only good things were the plátanos (hard to mess those up) the beans were sad, watery and did not taste good. The ride that came with the fish tasted like packaged rice and did not taste like home made rice. Don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place. Shame because Honduran food can be really good when freshly made.

This was the most unusual dining experience I’ve had in a while. It was late on a Sunday so there were very few restaurants that were still open. I’d already tried the diner down the road, so I was looking for something new to me and Copan sounded interesting. Finding street parking wasn’t a problem that time of night. From the outside, Copan looked dark because of the tinted windows. Inside though, it was a raucous bar with a DJ, dancing, and Latin American music. As I entered the security guard gave me a pat down for weapons, so I wondered if people trying to bring guns in was usually a problem.
