Great little diner. Fast service. Haystack sandwich was delicious. My husband enjoyed his double burger, can add onions and pickles. The fries were shoestring style, perfect crisp. I appreciate the hot sauce selection — Cholula, Red Hot, and Tabasco — to appeal to multiple tastes.

FIVE STARS all the way! A quaint little diner with terrific food (cooked right in front of you) and even better hosts! Justin and Jerry took great care of us and our breakfasts could not have been tastier. The sausage Pattie was crisp on the outside, tender inside, the hash browns were delightful and the bacon was cooked to perfection!! Next we will need to try the burgers, they look phenomenal!!

Town Topic Hamburger restaurants are two of my very favorites in KCMO. My first experiences eating at the Town Topic on Broadway date back to 1968 – 1969 after going to rock concerts at Municipal Auditorium. My friends and I would be hungry and one of them already knew the great reputation of Town Topic. I greatly enjoyed sitting at the counter eating a hamburger or two, drinking a nice cup of coffee and having a cup or bowl of their great Chile with chopped raw onions mixed in. It felt like heaven. The cooks and waiters were unbelievably friendly and made sure you were happy. They still are. I understand that Chief’s head coach Andy Reid thinks the Town Topic hamburgers are the best in KCMO! I totally agree. You cannot go wrong eating at Town Topic Hamburgers on either Broadway or Baltimore. They aim to please you and do so very well.

In town for a wedding and stumbled onto this “Kelvinator” classic joint. Did the breakfast “Haystack” samich and was fully filled. Quick and fast service with a very friendly staff. Do yourself a flavor and eat here as soon as you can!
