The service was terrific – friendly, prompt, and they make you feel like family. Restaurant was clean, nicely lit and had a welcoming atmosphere with lots of home-style character. The lady behind the counter was well informed about the menu, eager to answer questions, and happy to let me customize my order. I’ve been fortunate enough to try a variety of food from this place now, and it’s hard to pick a clear winner as it’s all been delicious. The s’mores donut is a real experience – I’ve never had anything like it anywhere else and it really hits the spot when you need a sweet treat to round out a great cooked breakfast.

Restaurant is good (their specials always look so delicious) and service from Rosa is the best part of the restaurant. Owners do not know what a gem they have in her, she needs a raise. The other employee should not use the only restroom as a telephone booth. Having a full blown conversation on speaker is rude and 15 minutes was a little excessive. Would like to see fountain drinks. Cobblers are delicious.

My grandmother and I had lunch here today. We enjoyed it. Good homestyle cooking! Friendly service. Large portions, clean environment. 12 tables or so. Tea, coffee and an ice machine with bottled coco-cola drinks. We did have to park around back but that couldn’t be helped. There is a drive thru window which I’ll be using next time to get donuts for the kids! I think this is a great addition to our severely lacking restaurant list here in Minden! Haha! 🙂

We thought this place only had donuts, but it was a full restaurant. The service was great. The food we ordered off the menu was so good. A lot better than the donuts. We also enjoyed the coffee. Prices were very affordable as well. The only reason I wouldn’t say it’s five stars is simply because the place had a very unavoidable odor that hits you as soon as you walk in. That was the only unpleasant thing I can say.
