The blackened chicken in the fettuccine was very tender. There was an excessive amount of sauce though. The crab cakes were very fresh, but a little bland. Portion sizes were generous. Our main complaint was service. It took about 15 minutes to get a server to even take our drink orders and when we were ready for the check, we couldn’t get anyone’s attention.

Been here probably 20 plus times over the years. The food is outstanding at the Rosewater!! I’ve had almost everything on the current menu… Recommendations… Seafood Gumbo is fantastic; Louisiana Catfish on the menu is really good as well; Salmon is fantastic as well which I’m eating tonight; NY Strip I had last time I was here was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time; Rosewater Loaded Chicken is really outstanding as well. Tavern Burger is the only item I wasn’t crazy about on the menu… That being said I don’t generally eat burgers. If you dine here be sure to grab a side of the home-made potato chips here, they are great! Staff here is fantastic as well! Bartender makes the best mojitos! Manager and head chef deserve props for making this place awesome! It definitely is one of the best “in” casino restaurants I’ve ate at and every staff member that has served me over the years was wonderful to me. Thank you!

I was excited to try this restaurant but disappointed with the food. The portions were good and presentation was nice. The flavor was lacking. I had grilled catfish and mac n cheese. The fish was pan fried with no seasoning at all. The vegetable menu is limited. Staff was nice and price was not bad. We enjoyed the atmosphere, modern and updated.

Had dinner here last night. The service was alittle slow but very kind. The salads were good. However, the entrees were not good at all. I thought the grilled catfish tasted sour and it ended up hurting my husbands stomach right after. The beef tip pasta was very bland with no flavor, just butter and oil.

The place and food were awesome!! Our waitress was new but she did a fantastic job!! We had the shrimp and fries platter. The shrimp were huge!! I would recommend the margaritas.. if you are ever at Delta Downs casino in Louisiana I would recommend trying out this restaurant, a little pricey but well worth it
