Our first time here with our family was great! We were passing thru on vacation and we like local diners so we fig we’d try them out. We loved the cozy, friendly warm atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful even with her small children who were there ,keeping her busy! She still managed to tend to us and had our food out very quickly. Our meals were delicious, fresh and hot! We loved the homemade fries and chips!! We also are small buisness owners so we understand and appreciate what goes into it, all while raising a family. Kudos to this family, they are doing great! We will Def be back in on our next PA camping trip!

Stopping through on our way home from camping at Bald Eagle and so glad we did! Was too busy enjoying food + atmosphere to get pictures. Got pretzel logs + cheese, woodfire pizzas, chicken sandwich, homemade chips & the southern iced tea- had to take some to go it was so good! Really wonderful family atmosphere. We will definitely come back to try the milkshakes and wine slushies- so much we couldn’t try all in one trip! Very grateful to have found this place.

The food was great! Unfortunately, that was about it! The service we received was not the best. The waitress got our order wrong and kept forgetting to bring things we asked for. It was not a busy night and she was definitely in no hurry to get things for us. The prices were more than I thought they should be for the food we ordered. Then when we went to pay we decided to pay with check because we didn’t want the 3.5% interest fee for using a card they tried to treat us like that let wouldn’t take check even though it said they took check.

Very nice, nice place, good food, excellent service. Ladies got the prime rib, gents got the rail. For dessert, apple dumplings with cinnamon or vanilla ice cream. Not a chain, food is homemade style, nicely done. From 12 yrs. to 60yrs, all we’re pleasantly satisfied. Would recommend. Now, to try for lunch!

We made reservations to this place specifically for their special of the day: Prime Rib. Ordering mine medium rare with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, it arrived slightly more rare than medium and I was fine with that. Apparently they smoke their Prime Rib, but it was very tender and delicious.

Went with my mom and aunt. We all had the pulled pork sandwiches and really enjoyed them. The chips were divine! The fried green beans were also very tasty! Overall, a very enjoyable experience. 🙂

Loved the food. The brisket melted in your mouth! Everything on the menu was fresh, I recommend stopping in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have a wine bar in the back from Juniata valley winery and you can get your favorite wine from there. I would say it’s worth the visit
