This place is hit and miss, we started eating take out dinner here about 3 months ago…some days good, some days bad… I’ve met mama, she is so sweet, her daughter just don’t care… called 2 days ago to see what was own the menu, mind you, I’m about 2 miles away… when we arrived at 3:56 pm(closes at 6 or 7) they had no food?????? They had some kind of meat and noodle surprise… wasted trip… I thought by going early I would beat the 5 o’clock traffic…there chicken fingers are good, there Salisbury steak is the best, pork chops are hit and miss, now I’m going to give them and extra star and make it 3….. there breakfast is always excellent!!

Got a bacon chz burger with Onion rings. First of all onion rings were so cold you couldn’t eat them so went back in and got fries which were also so cold you couldn’t eat them as well. The burger tasted like potted meat pattied and half cooked.

The chicken fingers are absolutely amazing. The best I’ve ever had! Mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty good as well as the okra and Mexican cornbread. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the seasoning on the green beans. Oh they also have that good, homemade ranch dressing.

This is my first time eating here. For a family of 6 it was under 48.00. we all either got catfish or pork chops. Everything was absolutely amazing and We will definitely be back offend.

Okay this is going to be short, simple, and to the point . Not only do they have very friendly employees and a great selection of items that you normally wouldn’t find it any other gas stations, But they also have a flipping restaurant attached that serves up some good down south homemade stick to your ribs kind of soul food cooking,(that lack of a better word Mount Olive has been sorely missing.) For me 5 out of 5 stars would definitely recommended to anybody Who comes through Mount Olive to give it a try You will not be displeased or let down .

Only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because the fries/onion rings def get served well past a point of what should be acceptable. Everything else is amazing. Breakfast sandwiches on giant biscuits. Hot sandwiches made fresh when ordered. Banana or pineapple pudding to choose from, both excellent. Meat and sides hot bar changes every day of the week, you can tell a lot of love goes into the food.
