My first time here. It was a little confusing when you first walk in. There’s a door to the left to the restaurant and to the right for the lobby of the hotel. There’s a sign saying wait for a table to be cleared before sitting. So we went in the restaurant. We saw no one was sitting at the bar but there were some dishes that needed to be cleared. So, we stood there waiting looking around not sure what to do. One of the server takes notice and told us we had to wait in the lobby.

Twice now I’ve had the desserts there and each time I was pleasantly happy with them. I’ve also had the prime rib burger which was alright, but I got excited about sweet potato tots! Not having any other sweet potato tots to compare to, I would say they were pretty good.

We are from out of state and had gone to the Russell museum. Looking on line we chose this because of the ratings. Cajun chicken wrap was very good, wife had prime rib sandwich which was also excellent. Plenty of food took half of each home. Service was also excellent, only issue is neighborhood is a little sketchy. We’d go again

We were sad to have our vacation plans upended in Great Falls, but this restaurant was well rated and we decided to stop. First of all, I want to shout out Jessica, our server, she was so welcoming, gave excellent suggestions, anticipated our every need! The whole staff were friendly and welcoming and turned around our disappointing day. The food was amazing, the best sort of home-cooked Montana fare: tasty, well flavored, tender local meat. Finally, the O’Hair Motel was such a fun venue. The “retrovation” is fun and the Montana Mermaids at the Sip n Dip were so fun.

Outdated, but the chairs were comfortable. Our server was a young girl who did good job, despite being stretched thin. Ribeye steak was perfectly fine. The mac and cheese tasted exactly like it came from a grocery store deli (ya know, the kind they heat up in a bath), but they put it in a cute ramekin and sprinkled panko on top. Not toasted, mind you, just white flakey panko. Corn side dish was terribly bland, they just added some bell pepper and herbs to the crummy white corn from a no.40 can. My partner had the beef stroganoff. It was not great. They repurposed their brown gravey, added bell peppers and little bits of meat( the highlight of the dish) on top of some penne, then put a dollop of sour cream on top and called it stroganoff. I can’t attest to any of their other food, as this was our first time, but we will most definitely not be going back for dinner.

This is my go to breakfast place. I love love love the Montana eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Maybe even made it for me with one with steak and one with salmon. Breakfast surf and turf! In the evenings you can eat in the bar and watch the mermaids. Love it!
