I ordered on DoorDash and when the fog dot her it was plated more perfectly in the box than I’ve seen at most restaurants despite being a messing dish. It was the most tender and delicious ox tail I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant. The plantains were perfectly the fried and juicy as well. My wife really enjoyed the curry chicken and said it was very tender.

Great spot for jamaican food! I had the small jerk chicken and a beef patty. Chicken was really tender, I just wish it had more sauce on it. Beef patty was crispy, flaky, and flavorful.

I drove all the way from Denver to Colorado Springs to have some very tasty Jamaica food and Dainty’s Kitchen surely didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the wonderful service and delicious oxtail and jerk pork.

I took a gamble on this place. I’ve had some jerk chicken that wasn’t very good in the past, but I didn’t want Mexican, Chinese, or fast food. The food arrived very quickly, and when I pulled the container out of the bag, heads started to turn. It smelled fantastic. I ordered jerk chicken, mac and cheese, and rice and beans. The food was spectacular. As another reviewer pointed out, it was plated in the container better than they do at other restaurants. The sauce was smokey and sweet, with a little bit of spice. I imagine if you like the “burn your face off” stuff, they can accommodate you. I got large portions, so for $15, this is two meals. Absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to go to this restaurant and meet the owners and their staff and try the food in-house.

Home cooking at its best. My wife and I split the oxtail with mac n cheese and rice & peas for our side. Jamacian grape soda for our drink. The oxtail fell off the bone, so good. Cant wait to go back for the brown chicken stew.

Must try! This tasted absolutely amazing! I wish I lived in COS because I would be here all the time. I tried the beef patty not knowing exactly what it was. It was this super tender and flavorful party in my mouth. I truly wanted to get like 3 more of these. I then got the jerk chicken with rice/peas, and cabbage. The jerk chicken was the best I’ve had in my life. The sauce they put on it was spot on with flavor. It also had the perfect consistency of tenderness and sear. I normally don’t love cabbage in meals but this was super flavorful and I really liked it paired with the chicken. The only miss food wise was the rice/peas. It was pretty bland. Maybe that’s supposed to be that way. Doesn’t matter, everything else was so good I didn’t care.

I really thought I could only get quality Jamaican food in Denver however Dainty’s Kitchen exceeded my expectations and is one of the BEST spots in the Springs. Between here and High Grade Foods they can take all my money! The young man who took my order over the phone was extremely polite and professional. He answered all my questions I had before I placed a to go order. I got the ackee and saltfish, dumplings, plantains and cabbage. I had absolutely NO complaints. Listen, when I took a bite of that ackee and saltfish I started to dance and almost started shouting. Have y’all ever tasted something so good that it shocked your taste buds? It was so flavorful. The portion size was more than enough. I’ll definitely be back… probably tomorrow!
