Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Unsatisfied!! My coworkers and I mobile ordered 3 hot subs for lunch today. When someone came to pick them up, he was told they didn’t have the order, and sent him to the Spring Mills location. (Spring Mills didn’t have it either beings it was ordered at the Martinsburg location). After driving to two locations, and calling the Martinsburg location to figure out what went wrong, they conveniently “found” our order. We asked them to remake them beings these were hot subs and ordered over an hour ago. Our subs were clearly REHEATED, and needed to be reheated AGAIN when we received them. The staff were also very rude when asked to compensate somehow.

Friendly staff, great service. Didn’t like how much shredded lettishes was put on my sub, but that’s just me. Other then that, regular subs are only like other places 6inches subs. Did know what to expect but know now. Don’t think I’ll eat there again. But the subs I got were good.

Usually we don’t have a complaint when coming here. But I have to say, this time was less than great. When I walked in, no one greeted me (not due to being busy) after I had eventually picked up the mobile order, one of the subs wasn’t supposed to have onions on it, ended up with them and they had a very strong chemical taste. It’s going to be a while before we chose to go back here.

Two weeks in a row our order was not correct. The first week we ordered online for pickup, when we arrived at first we were told the order was not received and it was probably at Spring Mills. Then all of a sudden the order was put on the pickup table and sat, the cashier had no customer service skills at all. This week I decided to try again and went inside to order, once again the order was wrong and I was standing right there. The man put lettuce on the sub, which I did not want or ask for so he just took the lettuce off. After telling them three times what toppings I wanted, they still got it wrong! This time the cashier did offer to make a different sandwich but I said no, I just want to get out of here.

The food was SO GOOD! I have never been to this place but I am definitely returning. I don’t remember names of the staff but it was on a Tuesday (4/25 around 3:30) the guys there were very kind & friendly and the nice lady made me a PERFECT sandwich. I really recommend this place.

We love Jersey Mike’s. But this location has had issues. Just writing this so others are careful. Don’t be afraid to write a bad review. If you think no one will take you seriously. We had delivered two steak and cheese subs this past month. One of them had a small piece in it that looked like something chipped off of some hard plastic or glass. Rock shaped. It was small yes but Not small enough to not be dangerous. It was very hard. I could’ve break it apart. that shouldn’t be in our food. I was beyond livid when we messaged a “manager” of the location (not sure if it was a manager) the image of what was found in the sub and they called back and said “we don’t have anything that looks like that here.”……..oh well neither do we! Telling us they can’t get us a refund or anything unless I came in……..(ordered through Jersey Mike’s app) but we ordered delivery for a reason. Because we were unable to go out. Someone that sounded like they were more sensible else tried to reach out but we have been to upset to contact them. Because we don’t plan on going back to that location unfortunately. This is something that happened to us at this location before and it sounds like we’re lying at that point but it’s true. We just want to eat. We’re not trying to pull a fast one on a place we love. I’d post a picture of what was found but I don’t want to post anything that would make this place possibly loose customers. Trying to be nice here. Just be mindful when you’re eating anything made on the grill. 🙁

It might have been a good sandwich had the Employee running her mouth with her friends had waited on me. Three Employees behind the counter just standing around. I left and will never be back. First visit here and last. To Lexi, No Thanks. I don’t want a sandwich today. I wanted it at 2 PM 2 days ago. Never going there again. My time is just as valuable as theirs.

I am from Salisbury md where I felt like the best cheese steaks ever are made at sub runners off of rt13. Now living in west Virginia I have not been able to find ANY PLACE that could even come close to sub runner until today.. My fiance took me to a new place called Jersey Mike’s the owner Mark was awesome and so was the staff and of course the other owner Marks wife.The food is all freshly cut and bread made fresh everyday the bread almost melts in your mouth.. If you are ever in the Martinsburg area or live here and have not tried Jersey Mike’s it is a must have .. You will not be disappointed.. Thanks guys for giving me a favorite sub place to go and that brings me some memories of home.. And thank you to my wonderful fiance for taking me there..
