We LOVED this entire experience. We sat outside in the middle of June and it was perfect. Food was excellent, high quality, great taste. You could come dressed nice or in shorts and you’d fit in just fine. Drinks were yummy as well!

We stayed at the Castle and came here for dinner. We started with a crostini appetizer that was perfect, very cheesy. Hubby had the short ribs, and I had chicken bruschetta. The ribs were boneless and very delicious, served over mashed potatoes with asparagus. The chicken was also served over mashed potatoes with broccolini. It was also very delicious. We were served some bread with homemade blueberry jam, that was amazing! We both had dessert, he had Key lime pie that was delicious and I had a cherry crumble that was terrible. It was hard and had only one cherry in it, and tasted like store bought pie filling. At least the rest of the meal was excellent! Breakfast is not the gourmet meal that dinner is, but you can get short rib hash, and it was again delicious! The service was friendly and fast. We will come back here for a meal again.

The food and service were outstanding. We did have a pretty long wait to get our entrees but the food was so good that it was worth the wait. Our server, Tabitha, was amazing and took very good care of us. Highly recommend the short ribs and blackened Brussel sprouts. Will be back to try the Walleye!!!

My husband and I had reservations and we were sat down promptly, but the service and food was terrible. The hostess became our server because all the servers were too busy to deal with us. The hostess did her best and there was no complaints on her part. I had the braised short rib and it was flavorless. My husband had their ribeye steak and it was also lacking flavor. The only thing that was good was their stuffed mushrooms.

The Copper Mug is located on Mohican Castle grounds and is the most convenient dining if you’re staying in one of their rooms or cottages. This was our second annual Landoll’s stay and we were very much looking forward to dining at the Copper Mug again.

We didn’t know this place existed and literally happened upon it while we spontaneously decided to drive the Amish Bypass. We were literally driving through dirt roads when we came upon Landoll’s Mohican Castle, of which the Copper Mug is a part of.
