This was our first time at this place. Our server was super sweet, she made great food suggestions, there was a lot more for kids to choose from on their menu and my entre was DELICIOUS! There was also a live band!

Nice place. They were really busy when we were there. I had a fajita taco salad which was way too juicy. It was good but got too messy to finish. It was a busy day. We had to wait a long time for food and no one came see if we needed anything else till we were ready to check out. May have just caught in bad day.

It’s really hard to get refills here (on chips and salsa and drinks both). We’ve been when it was busy and when it was slow, and it didn’t seem to make a difference. They advertise a salsa bar but are stingy on use (have a paper sign on the door saying they’ll charge $6 if you buy less than 5 tacos and try to use it). Dinners food was fixed correctly and arrived hot, but when we were there for lunch (this visit), our food was barely warm, and mine wasn’t correct.

I had to work in fortsmith for a few days. 10 out of 10 here. Try the chile poblano burrito, it’s perfect. Muchas gracias por una comida excellente.

Over priced. No seasoning on food. Also other mexican places give tomatillo( spicy salsa) for free, here THEY CHARGE FOR IT. Also service is horrible everybody was in their phone and no drink or refill on chips. Never coming back and I will make sure people don’t go

My wife and I have been to a lot of Mexican themed restaurants. Everything needed seasoning. Everything tasted like it was out of a store and reheated there. To be fair we did order off the lunch menu, common, basic items. Tacos, an enchilada, beans and a taco salad. The complimentary chips and salsa were uninspired. The salsa had fleck of green, think it may have been cilantro, and a very small amount of heat, but tasted like tomato sauce. Tacos, the cheese was great….beans grayish brown semi solid paste with no flavor. The redsauce was orange and bland, no flavor or heat. Overall, disappointing. When we asked about another menu item on the way out, instead of being told things “like (it is amazing, it has a cilantro/jalapeno cream sauce and the steak is cooked medium well with just a little pink so it is tender, they come with a delightful combination of ‘X'”, we were told this, verbatim, “It’s very good, it’s a lot of food”. The end. Sigh. Refills were slow. Just a let down all around.

1.50 tacos on taco Tuesday. 4 taco minimum to use the taco bar. Plenty of toppings. Meat was well seasoned and not too fatty. I liked that the tortillas are thick so the juices don’t make it break. My favorite place for tacos.

My wife and I recently stopped in at La Mesa for lunch on recommendation of the shift manager at El Tapatio Restaurant in Okmulgee, OK. He stated that the owner was a friend of his and that they served good Mexican food.

Everything was really great and we had a nice visit with old friends, but the room they set us in was way to warm and stuffy … other than that everything was great.
