Popskies Cajun Kitchen had a steady flow of online dinner orders pick-ups. It was my first time at this location, but it was worth the drive. Nice well seasoned tender potatoes, corn and sliced hotlinks and succulent crab. You have a choice of hot or mild seasoning. The good thing is there are specials if you are a light eater, otherwise you there is a plentiful individual menu as well as catering menu.

Looked a little unprofessional inside but the food was amazing!!! I will for sure be going back regularly. I can’t believe how much food I got for $23. Naked shrimp plate, large soda, side of Cajun fries, and side of white rice. If you have not tried this place, you must. If you are thinking of trying this place, you must. The food was so delicious. They serve a lot and there’s very few places like this around the high desert. They might have been training a new employee the day I went, but I sure hope they stay open for a long time.

The food exceeded all expectations and the customer service was exceptional. They were running a promotion for 15% off of all trays and we took advantage of it, we also tried the chicken sandwiches and the sausage Po-Boys, the cajun fries were also delicious. I will definitely be going there and spend my money locally as opposed to driving out to San Pedro.

I read the reviews after ordering and got worried I would be disappointed. HOWEVER, the food was DELICIOUS!! The sauce made me remember why I fell in love with Cajun style seafood. The other 2 Cajun seafood restaurants I’ve tried in the Hi-Desert have left me hopeless. So thank you Popskie’s. 4 stars because it was my first time. I will definitely be ordering again…

This restaurant is new so I wanted to give it a try to show a new, local business some love. Also, I love seafood! I ordered the fish and chips meal but was SO VERY DISAPPOINTED when I saw that the fish was not fresh. They literally fried up frozen fish sticks and and tried to pass that over as a meal! This is a seafood spot that is serving frozen fish sticks. Unacceptable! I can take my kids to Long John Silver’s for frozen fish stick patties! In addition to that, they gave me 2 very small ones. Then, I ordered Cajun fries thinking it would be some sort of batter on them ( as Cajun fries usually have). Nope! It was regular fries with extra salty imitation Cajun seasoning. I basically paid for a salty, Long John Silver’s fast-food kids meal. This is supposed to be a real restaurant not fast food. I expect real seafood. I will not be returning. Restaurants are struggling and good eateries are out there making real food. This is not one of those places! This is NOT a real Cajun kitchen. They do not know what they’re doing at all. Shame, shame, shame! I would give it no stars if I could. I’m from the south. This place would get laughed out of town.

Polite, pleasant, ordering was easy, a mistake was made, however, it was immediately fixed and corrected, with ease, very apologetic and understanding. Kitchen is visible ( ) and customer service was outstanding. Love how they dont mix the seafood, this makes it great if you have food allergies. Needless to say, “I will be back”! Family also enjoyed the food.

I’ve had this a few times already I love the sauce and seasoning. Today I ordered again and the portion was very small. Order the party tray and it was not even half full. There must have been less than 10 crawfish and like a hundred pieces of claws which you cannot really eat out of. The garlic bread I ordered before was good amount. today was just two pieces of hoagie bread for $4 each. Not sure what happened in the month and a half from the last time I went but something’s changed. Ordered this at the beginning of July and the portion was way better. Was very disappointed today.

So far I have been here twice. First time was really good. I had the crawfish and shrimp plate. Both were prepared great. So we came back about a week later and it was a completely different experience. We got the same food and the seasoning was off and the shrimp was some how really soft basically they had the same texture as mashed potatoes. Maybe a different cook? Hope it gets back on tract.
