I’m so sad that this restaurant closed down. Their dishes were so delicious and the people that worked there were so nice. I appreciated that they were always sensitIve to and accommodated for my daughter’s food allergies when we ordered our food. We will truly miss this place as our “go to” for Chinese food.

I hope this place never closes! My daughter has food allergies and this is one of the very few Asian restaurants where I feel safe taking her. And they’re really cool about it when you tell them to hold certain ingredients because of allergies. Not like other places that act like you’re doing it just to be picky. Aside from great customer service, their food is DELICIOUS! Don’t let the empty place fool ya. Majority of their business is take out or delivery. When your laid out in bed sneezing and congested, and you’re also hungry but too sick to cook, just place an order for their bomb hot-sour soup… that’ll clear you right up and help soothe your sore throat!

Was very disappointed with my order. Paid $53.30 for 4 small containers and 1 to-go box.. general tso chicken, sweet& sour chicken could have used more chicken. Maybe it wouldn’t have been so tuff and crunchy.. Safeway Chinese has better quality and quantity for your buck. So if u don’t like wasting your $$$$ look elsewhere..

Best Chinese food in the area! Great service, and lots of food – usually good for two or three meals on each plate! The person who said Safeway has better is absolutely wrong!!! We love Imperial Palace and recommend it to all our friends!

We ordered take out for the first time from Imperial Palace on Christmas. I have zero complaints. We ordered combo B for 2 people. The food was very good. The Mongolian Beef was delicious, very tender, no fat, tasty sauce. Ignore the bad reviews. Tell the haters I’ll see you later I’m eating at Imperial Palace.

Three people should not cost sixty dollars. Especially for subpar food. The orange chicken was spicy, which my friend didn’t realize as it was stated NO WHERE on the menu, which meant she couldn’t eat it. So we instead ordered sweet and sour chicken. We ended up having to just pay and leave as my other friend wasn’t feeling well(not connected to the food.) We realized this morning that our food should not have come up to sixt dollars! We all did the math, and it should have been around $30. So once they opened we went in, and found out we actually OWED three more dollars!!! The orange chicken SHOULD have been comped since my friend wasn’t able to eat it. Also, I was told that a manager wasn’t present, and then suddenly a manager showed up as soon as I started talking about money! The entire staff hovered around us while we spoke with the waitress who had served us the night before.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. How on earth is the shrimp ice cold in the Chow Mein but the other stuff is warm? The pot stickers were something I’ve never seen or tasted before. I will never order from this place again!!!

Would give a zero star if that was a choice! Today we had lunch here as we have for the last 15 years and needless to say when i got home this evening apparently my waitress didn’t feel her tip was sufficient and added an additional $5.00 to the tip amount on my bill. I was in disbelief when i saw this tonight on my online banking. Shame on them! Isn’t this illegal? Of course stupid me left all copies of the receipts on the table so i guess i was an easy target. They have lost my business forever as this is not ok to do and is so very wrong and dishonest. I do not recommend paying with a credit or debit card for this very reason if you decide to still dine here. If you do watch your statements. Very upset and disappointed in Imperial Palace today!!

This was the worst Chinese food I have had. I used to love this place but the cooking has gone way down hill. I was so disappointed. I had the chicken and broccoli, it was bland w/soggy chicken; the fried rice was yellow w/ few peas or carrots; the egg rolls were overcooked; the almond chicken was tasteless; the fried wontons were cold; and the fortune cookies were stale. The worst $40, I ever spent on a meal and will never eat here again.
