Great local place for breakfast, brunch, and now dinner on certain nights! Today was our first time visiting. We had seen lots of mixed reviews across social media when this place first opened and after giving them time to work out all their new restaurant opening kinks, we can say this place is worth trying! Most items on the menu are house made and you won’t find this at any breakfast chain restaurant. We started with the mini biscuit basket where we got to try the house made gravy, honey butter, bacon jam butter, and grape jam – all were great! For entrees we got the atomic biscuit and the great balls of fire biscuit – both HUGE portions and tasted great. Biscuits were hot, fresh, golden, and perfectly fluffy inside. Cheese grits and tots for sides are also good. Friendly and attentive service – Katie was awesome! We will definitely be back to try some other menu items soon and highly recommend eating here and supporting a local business!

I do have a complaint. But I wanted to say that the food was great and my server was good. I have cancer so I sometimes can not eat a lot. My friend placed a to-go order for his wife and when it was time for us to finish up I asked for a to-go box for the rest of my food. The server said that they had no to-go containers and was packing my friend up special. I dropped the topic and didn’t cause a scene. But it makes me angry spending $24, $6 for tip ….so $30 total and not being able to take home anything. My 10yr son had a $10 appetizer. I had a $13 biscuit and ate about $1 worth. $12 was thrown in the trash. What a waste! Sorry, I will not be back because of this experience. Should always find a way to take care of the Customer. Was even willing to pay $1 to-go fee that they charge.

Incredibly great vibe, good food, and the service was nice, but I do wish they had more servers on the floor. The restaurant was almost completely full, and I only saw 2 servers rushing around to appease all the customers, so that’s really bad planning on management. Both girls that I saw were really nice and professional.

So thankful for the vegetarian & vegan options here. It’s so needed here in canton and so yummy, too. My only complaints is the slow wait times every time i’ve come (but to me if I have the time, it’s worth the wait) my other compliant is the sausage gravy (vegetarian style) bonnie informed me they make it from scratch, yum, but there’s been inconsistency when i’ve ordered it. Sometimes it tastes so amazing and other times it’s bland and flat. But overall, atomic biscuit is one of my local favs for the fellow vegetarian or vegan due to all the options and customizations. So if you are one, come try! Here is my regular the vegan jack & benny (except i cheat and add real cheese). Thanks guys for a cool spot!!

Loved everything about it except the actual food. Great friendly server, huge (and accordingly pricey) portions. Mainly I think I didn’t care for the sausage gravy which had a very odd flavor to me…I thought it was the breading on the country fried steak so I didn’t eat the steak and asked for more gravy, only to find out the odd flavor WAS the gravy! They did take the steak off the bill without being asked which I think is excellent service. I left a $20 for a $7 bill because it would have been $15 or $16 as I originally ordered it and I don’t personally believe you need to always not charge for something just because a patron doesn’t care for it. The cheese grits on the side were excellent. I will try this place again and get a biscuit sandwich or eggs with a biscuit and jelly and if everything is great I will update my review and increase my rating.

The place is great. It was pretty busy, but the greeters did a good job getting us in there as quick as possible. I saw some of the reviews and almost didn’t try it (maybe they had an off day?). I’m a chef, and for a neighborhood bistro style restaurant, the food was on point and not overdone. Hands down, best restaurant biscuit I’ve had. Wait staff was happy and helpful when we had questions on special food sensitivities. It was a little loud, but cool decor. I’d give it a 4.75 if that was choice. I’ll be back

The staff is awesome. The food, not the best experience. Brooke was our waitress and she was friendly and extremely attentive. Let me start with the good. The Build Your Own Biscuit, BBLT and bottomless mimosas were good. The crawfish and grits were just terrible! The amount of poultry seasoning used in the crawfish and grits completely overpowered the dish so we let our waitress know. The manager kindly removed the crawfish and grits from our bill and replaced it with the Atomic Biscuit which was ALSO as equally terrible because AGAIN, the amount of poultry seasoning used overpowered the dish and ruined it. There were 5 in our party and only 2 enjoyed their meal. We paid over $100 for a “not so great” breakfast. It was very disappointing that the waitress was told about the poultry seasoning and the dish brought out to replace our first had far more poultry seasoning than the first dish. My daughter even stated that she couldn’t figure out what exactly was wrong with her Blast Off Benedict until I mentioned the poultry seasoning. Yep, you guessed it, her meal was ruined by the over-seasoning of poultry seasoning. I’m not sure what is going on with the kitchen but the amount of poultry seasoning used in every dish was absolutely absurd. This experience was extremely disappointing to say the least and what’s worse is that we were there celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Our waitress was sweet and we had a great experience with service but the food was just terrible. Maybe after a few months, we might consider giving them another try.
