Great food. Super service. They let us sit at the table for hours and kept filling up our water. I ordered to go food to take for dinner. The Malay food was spicy and yummy. Will be back for laksa. The place is clean and spacious. They have lunch specials even on the weekends.

Very good Thai food with delicious lamb and chicken satay. Thai fried rice was so good we needed to re-order. Sticky rice with mango is beyond delicious. Order one of yourself. Sharing is not an option. It is so delicious with that coconut jaggery adding that extra tropical flavor to this delicious dessert. The staff is friendly and polite. The parking on the side is difficult to get out of since you need to back out in an angle. Parking on the street is available though.

As a Malaysian, I was really excited about having Malaysian food again. You can find typical Malaysian dishes here such as nasi lemak, char kuey teow and curry laksa. The only drawback for Muslims is that the meat is not halal I stick to seafood based food.

Endorse this restaurant with my PhD candidate status at the University of Edinburgh in 2023! I had my first ever delivery experience in the States here (and in North America! Gosh…I’ve been lived in North America for four years), and for dinner! I ordered my the first formal dinner in the US from this restaurant and I actually marked it before I traveled here from Edinburgh, the UK. I did enough research on eating around AU and AU park. This restaurant slaps and it’s a must! Even beyond my expectations!!! Love the shrimp satay…love the kung po chicken sooooo much-tastes exactly like what I had in my childhood in Northern China! Gosh…I haven’t been in China for two years, it brings me back the most beautiful memories….AND Thai foods here in DC are so different from those in Edinburgh. I finally had drunken noodles right with wide noodles but narrow ones. And the taste is so Chinese style!!! So many vegetables and meats in one bowl! Go eat in! Every time any friends of mine visit AU I will definitely recommend Satay Club!

I really like this restaurant!! The lady who took care of our order was very friendly and the service was fantastic. The food was amazing as well. I recommend every dish that we ordered. Curry laksa has a very flavorful broth which pairs well with the rice noodles. Mee Goreng is a must-try if you like stir-fried noodles. Nasi Lemak is a very popular speciality entree. It is my first time trying it and it has coconut rice pairing with fried chicken, Indian chips, chicken satay, shrimp, and fried egg. The combination is fun since it includes different flavors such as spicy and satay. The desserts are also delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to every one who is interested in Asian food.

My experience at this nice restaurant was nothing short of perfect. The lychee fruit drink was outstanding. The Curry Laksa was so good, it made me want to buy a ticket to Kuala Lumpur. I definitely cannot forget about the Vietnamese Spring Rolls. They were delicious. The waitress was extremely cool and polite. She talked to us about Malaysia. I definitely will be returning here more frequently.

A nice Malaysian flavor meal, will be better if there is more spicy (should be ok to ask them to add sambal for you)
