great service; we had a large group of 14 for lunch after a grad ceremony and had two waitresses, who checked up on us regularly and quickly grabbed any extra items we needed. menu is affordable, and the size portions were amazing, my cousins fish fillet was almost as bigger than her plate!

Had the best time here at ginger hill! Our waitress autumn was the absolute best!! She made us feel so comfortable and welcomed! I will definitely be coming back! If she is there working you definitely want to ask for her! Love that girl!

Was visiting Slippery Rock University for a tournament and decided on this place for a bite to eat. They were busy for a Saturday afternoon, but they had a seat when we walked in. The server was very nice and took our order quickly. It took some time to receive our food, close to 35 minutes but the server did keep checking in. The food was good but not great. The Buffalo chicken sandwich piece of chicken was very small, didn’t fill the whole bun. Chicken was good though. Bun wasn’t fresh. The fries were seasoned good, but weren’t hot, kinda room temperature. The other order was salmon salad. The salmon was tasty, but the salad was obvious just from a “bag of lettuce.” We also ordered a bowl of wedding soup and it was hot and delicious. We also only had water. The two meals with tip were $45. I would eat here again, but would have lower expectations.

The food is great, the drinks are good, but the staff is incredible. They are just so unbelievably nice. The one waiter just absolutely made my little girl’s day. I won’t say what he did as I don’t want others to try and take advantage (call me a pessimist), but it was the nicest random act of kindness I’ve witnessed in years. Literally brought tears to my eyes. Such a wonderful experience, we will return. Again and again. Thank you so much.

Great spot near the campus. Wings were fantastic, cooked perfectly, sauce not at all greasy. Solid beer deals for a large draught. Go out of your way to come here for beer & wings.

They have a nice bar area that you can eat at they also have tables, booths in the front throughout the restaurant. The Upstairs also has seating area for families whoever wants to eat inside a wheelchair can be brought in should not be a problem. Outside the back is very popular with fireplaces and seating if that’s what you would like to do the food is good ,and prices okay ,right on the main line of Slippery Rock I like eating there I would recommend stopping it

We love coming here when in Slippery Rock. Great food and a fun atmosphere. Servers are very attentive and extremely friendly. Best pepperoni balls I’ve ever had. Nice portions at a fair price. Street parking and a small lot adjacent to the building make it accessible. We will definitely be back again.

Table for 8, got sat quickly. Drinks took awhile to arrive and we ordered, it took almost an hour to get our dishes. Server was friendly, only the reason this is atleast a 3 star and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Not sure if I’ll be returning soon.
