We made a reservation weeks in advance to make sure we got in, and I’m so glad we did. Everyone that worked there was so friendly, and the decor is so cute. While all the food and drinks were delicious, the vegan crab cakes were absolutely incredible! Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Visited here for dinner a few days ago, and absolutely loved it. More details below, but first, a quick summary. Drinks are all excellent. Food is very well cooked and all worth what they charge. Some dishes feel a little held back by the dedication to vegan ingredients.

Creative cocktails and food, friendly and entertaining staff, and a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Between Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard, it’s been the best food and drinks during the entire trip! 11/10 definitely go here if you can only visit one spot

Go! Now! The food is spectacular. The cocktails are vibrant and delicious! We go every time we are on the island, sometimes twice, if we are lucky enough. My hubby is obsessed with the “It Isn’t Easy Being Green” cocktail. The mocktails are even magical. Try the tacos! Good tip, if you can’t get a reservation, go when they open and sit at the bar! Food, service and ambiance are wonderful!

I absolutely adore the Pawnee House. Make reservations! It’s a small place and it’s better to have them. The owners and servers are absolutely wonderful people, so kind and knowledgeable about gluten. Drinks were delicious, food was delicious and enjoyed the time spent there. I 100% recommend coming here as a nice dinner with loved ones.

Great meal! The place is small and very busy. I felt very bad for Alex the host! There were many Karens trying to use their privilege and asking for a table without a reservation even after he told them there were none. Two women even asked if he could ask people sitting at the bar to get up early to accommodate them! Very poor taste and Karens being Karen. Aside from that food was great. Our waitress got one item of our order wrong but we were accommodated with a free dessert so it all worked out. Also mixed drinks were made strong so a plus! Salmon Wellington excellent and beet and goat cheese stack great and the shishito peppers were roasted to perfection. Strawberry shortcake so good with the homemade biscuit! All together a great meal. But please If want to dine in the summer make a reservation!

This is an elevated dining experience. Every dish is executed to a higher standard with great depth of flavor. The same can be said for the drinks. Don’t skip dessert either! Service and atmosphere were great, and the prices are reasonable considering the overall experience and quality of food you are getting.

Excellent options for vegetarian / gluten-free / dairy free. Menu is mixed, but we got southern / comfort food: red beans, and rice with collard greens, polenta with spinach and mushrooms. All very good.

What a gem! Read about it in a recent NYT article about the Vineyard and decided to include it on a visit to the island. We weren’t able to remake reservations (they were booked! If you can, I recommend you make them before your visit to ensure you get to enjoy this place), so we popped in once they were open and learned seats at the bar are available on a first-come-first-serve and serve from the regular menu. No bar seats were open on our first pass, but there were some openings a few minutes later so we eagerly sat down. The place is airy and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Oscar, the bar tender, treated us with the utmost of care and we had a fabulous experience. Our drinks were delicious and the food! I made the mistake of not ordering 3 of the short rib tacos thinking 2 would suffice. Nope-get 3. I ended up getting a whole second order because they were so good. We also had the curried butternut squash soup and spicy meatballs (peppery spice, not “hot” spice) – YUM. We’ll be back and I highly recommend you go.
