This place was kinda dark inside but was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was not good at all. It started with the chips and salsa. The chips were brittle and couldn’t hold the very watery salsa that had almost no flavor. The tostada was small for the price and blah… no flavor, not mixed well and hardly any good ingredients. We used the watered down salsa to help it out, didn’t do much. The chicken taco was just as bad. The shell felt stale and there was no flavor. Just lettuce cheese and unseasoned chicken. The cheese enchilada was quite small, maybe made in a street taco shell, yeah that tiny, disappointing. I read this place had the best authentic Mexican food this side of the boarder. I won’t be back and I love Mexican food. Definitely not the even in the top 20. Don’t be disappointed go somewhere else, maybe Lorenzo’s I think that’s near by. If you want to travel a bit my favorite is Lupita’s!

Just excellent. This is a favorite spot when we gather with family. We are from out of town and this is always everyone’s first choice of gathering spot. Their chimichanga is famous for a reason! Food is plentiful, enough for a full meal the next day, so if the prices seem a bit steep, bear that fact in mind.

The restaurant itself is really nice, I love the decor and the waitstaff was very friendly. It was my boyfriend and I’s first ever time here and we were incredibly impressed by the reviews/rating that they had. We got an order of the bean dip to share, my bf ordered an enchilada plate and I ordered a beef chimichanga. The bean dip was wonderful, we ate that with the quickness and enjoyed it thoroughly. The chicken enchiladas were not impressive according to my bf and had a couple burnt bits of chicken in it but he still finished the entire meal. My chimichanga however I could not finish, I was about 5 bites into the meal and I could barely swallow the food and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong but something tasted very wrong. So I cut open the chimichanga and I found raw beef. Almost half the meat I took out had raw pieces on it or were almost completely uncooked. I spit the bite in my mouth out and I didn’t eat any more of it at all. I unfortunately didn’t say anything to the waiter and we left as quickly as possible. It’s now the next day and my stomach is killing me and I am afraid i might have food poisoning

( sorry the photo is blurry, had hard time uploading photos from phone to notebook)… Believe me, it’s the most delightful, yummy food!! Laid back atmosphere too!!!

I was born and raised in El Paso Texas raised inJuarez chuh mex. So when I say eat Mexican food I hold that to a really high standard we cook differently out in the in Texas we use more of a desert feel like I don’t know how to explain it but this restaurant captured the essence of my childhood. If someone had to say where you can get authentic Mexican food I would safely face everything else is a peninsula or like from the from the region of the water this is like the closest to real Mexican food I’ve ever had. Post office impeccable they really know how to treat a customer at first you would look at it and think another taco truck or taco stand no no no this is a full service restaurant I totally recommend this I give her 20 thumbs up I would take it your family and go out to dinner and enjoy it you’re not going to find another restaurant like it and all the Sacramento. Of course if you think Taco Bell’s Mexican food don’t bother coming here you’ll just clog up the lines.. gem of a restaurant is off of Auburn boulevard right when you exit the freeway it’s going to be like the second shopping center on the right right next to Dollar General I really highly suggest you come here support a local business and . When you do make your way down here make sure you ask for Bryan with a Y.Hes an impeccable host, he really knows his business he knows the food and he knows the region of the food which is really impressive cuz most people don’t even take the time to know that so that should tell you a lot about the staff here they know what they’re talking about they know what they’re serving so that means it’s good for you once again I’m going to tell you all bring your families come down here it’s hot outside I’m very nice taco salad I had the flowers personally and they are amazing so can’t wait to see you guys here

Very friendly, clean and had a certificate from the health department for passing multiple health inspections. I ordered the #5 to go. The wait was fast and the Chile relleno was excellent. The beef burrito also very flavorful. The beef taco, rice and beans all very good. It includes chips and salsa. Prices reasonable.

Really fast service. I got seated right away and my food was ready within minutes, also my waitress was very attentive. The food here has great taste and is definitely authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend this place look dark from the outside however business hours are correct.
