This is my new favorite place to get a fresh lunch on the cheap cheap. I was not prepared for this restaurant to finesse me the way it did. I don’t even like chicken salad, y’all, and I’ve been here twice this week. I just came for the soup, really. And the soup certainly did not disappoint, but I did not expect a chicken salad sandwich to be so enjoyable too. I’ve had two flavors and both were awesome. I got hustled by a player here, worked over by a professional! How do they make chicken salad so delicious? I get half a cup of soup and sandwich, and it’s enough to fill me up without breaking the bank. The croissant is always perfect, flaky and sweet and buttery, and they give you a cookie, pickle, crackers too.

I really enjoy the Buffalo Barclay, but today my meal was not enjoyed because my sandwich was prepared on a molded croissant. Highly disappointed to say the least and totally disgusted. It was also impossible to reach anyone by phone, so I had to make another trip back to the restaurant.

I used to go to Chicken Salad Chick but not anymore… I got a salad with a side of stomach virus from this location from somebody not washing their hands (according to the doctor). I know for sure because it’s the only thing I ate that day. And I became so dehydrated from being sick that I ended up in the hospital and have a nice $1500 bill now. Not to mention missing work, etc. Thanks Chicken Salad Chick… smh.

Though this location does not offer curbside pick up, a man, (I’m assuming the manger due to his level of politeness and being accommodating) offered to bring out my lunch to my vehicle -as I have a newborn. I really appreciated it. I didn’t catch his name but I will be back because of him and the delicious lunch.

It was our first time trying Chicken Salad Chick, and I don’t have any photos because, well, we devoured it so quickly! The food was fresh, tasted great, and the service was amazing. I asked for lightly toasted bread, and it was perfect with the Chicken Salad BLT. The tomatoes were firm like I like, and the Jalapeno Holly was a great choice. My husband tried the Turkey Club on a Croissant and it was inhaled. The pickles, Broccoli Cheddar soup, and the Mac and cheese were also delicious. The little cookies were a pleasant surprise as well! While we waited for our food, we read the story of how it all started, and it is heartfelt and filled with love. We have found a new sandwich and soup spot to frequent for sure!

Have been twice. The chicken salad is wonderful. I have had Fancy and Jalapeno. It is very clean. Plus the staff was respectful and very kind. Plan to go again to try another flavor. Nice addition to Goose Creek for something different.
