Very good, the food is different from traditional Mexican food. The turkey salbut with marinated onions and fresh cabbage is my favorite, the beans and rice are refreshing too, not your normal Spanish rice, and they use black beans, which I love.

VERY expensive for what you get. Very small portions at a high price. The food quality was so-so. I got a beef chimichanga and a relleno. They tasted okay, but both were very small. $13 for the chimichanga and $4 for the relleno… The service was also very bad, we were a group of four and there were two other couples in the whole restaurant and the waitress still took a long time to do anything. We got the check, she took it, and we still waited like 10 minutes to get it back to sign…

Tasty food and friendly service. Usually 5 stars. I gave 4 this time because my meal was a little off and took way longer than usual to prepare. I’ll be back to see if things improve.

Excellent local choice for Mexican food. Great if you are heading up the 38 to Big Bear. (Or on the way down.) Some local craft beer but could have a broader selection.

I like the way they cook there food. The service is not great. I ordered flan and it came to me in the prepackaged container. Tasted good but no effort to presentation at all. I would go there again but not if I was on a time constraint.

The food is very good. The rice is excellent. Try one of the Maya or Yucatan dishes. Very different from usual Californian Mexico fare. Very friendly service. I can recommend this restaurant very much.

Great place. The Cream of Black Bean soup is fantastic. The Chicken Poc Chuc rocks. The Rosa Lisa Carba Asada is the best steak salad in So. Cal.

Fresh, family-made, distinctive Mexican food with a Yucatan twist. Named for the indigenous people in southeastern Mexico who mysteriously abandoned their major cities in the 8th and 9th century, Casa Maya offers the usual gringo faves, but sets itself apart with its Mayan recipes. Try the panuchos (a cousin of Salvadoran pupusas) which pile shredded turkey, pork or beef (or for vegetarians, avocados and beans) and marinated onions over a thick, bean-infused tortilla. The sopa de lima is a tangy, mouth-watering starter, as is Ruben’s salad or the nopales salad made from prickly pear cactus leaves. Service has gotten faster recently, but go there when you have time to enjoy the food and the TLC this family has been putting into it for decades. It has long been our favorite Mexican food place on the planet.

The owner is awesome, I live on the opposite side of town and he was kind enough to bring me food at work. Food was delicious and the ownership/service is amazing and impeccable. Thank you
