Both born in Sicily, Italy, they grew up in a culture that always opened their homes and kitchens to an array of family and friends. Their dream was to bring home cooked meals to their community.

It was clean. Nice, beautiful decorations. There was a tall, white, nice guy at the door with a cross necklace who was very professional, polite, welcoming, and considerate. He greeted and led us to our table. Later, he switched our table when the careless, irresponsible, distracted waitress spilled olive oil on our table and our booth without apologizing or cleaning. She was trying to rush and get the order before we got a chance to wash our hands. She put the rolled silverware in napkins on my dad’s food in the sauce and didn’t do anything to fix it. Other staff were welcoming, nice, and responsive. There was another young, responsible girl who cleaned our table twice. The food was ok. The dishes weren’t exactly the same as the pictures on their website. Linguine alle Vongole didn’t taste garlic sauce, and it had 7 small clams, not the one in the photo. Marsala didn’t come as the photo. It had the chicken on top of the side, not on the side.For Mahi Mahi al Limone,a $30 dish, there was no lemon and dill on top like the photo on their website And it could have a better taste and flavor. As a fan of Italian food who traveled to Italy many times, I think other Italian restaurants in Virginia have more tasty and flavor dishes. I liked the atmosphere. It has the potential to offer better food for the price and hire waitresses who are not distracted and don’t do a lousy job.

Excellent and by far the best authentic Italian restaurant in the Fairfax area! Calamari is a must order, pasta and sauces they make here are perfect. Place gets really crowded, definitely not the cheapest but all worth it. Servers could use a little more training when it comes to the menu and identifying photos. Have tried a variety here and was not once disappointed.
