The family tried this place while on vacation and we were surprised at the quality of the food. Some of the locals recommended this place and we were glad we tried it. We tried the somosas, chicken tikki masala, garlic naan and a cold mango drink. The drink was a little thicker that other places in Houston we’ve tried, but it had a good taste. The other dishes were on point. The maps on the tables add a unique touch for those who aren’t familiar where in the world these dishes originate from. Go ahead and try this place out if you’re in Gunnison Colorado. The waiters look comfortable in their laid back attire, but don’t let that fool you, they were good and attentive.

The food was beyond our expectations. The Sherpa stew was fantastic along with the Naan bread was great. When we are the area again we will be stopping in again for the best Tibetan food around.

Everything was really good, but the chicken makhani was exceptional, and the coconut raisin naan was amazing. My husband had the garlic and cheese naan and momo dumplings and both were very good, too. There’s also so lovely decor. Our server was very friendly and the food was served fairly quickly.

Delicious Indian food can be hard to find in a small town. Definitely found it here. And reasonably priced too! We tried some of the curry and saag. The naan was the best part in my opinion!

Vibrant, casual restaurant serving good food. Our waiter was helpful and kind. We ordered family style and were able to quickly get in an out half an hour before close. Food came very fast. Prices were decent. The coconut and raisin naan was superb! Chicken tikka masala curry was great, momos were a bit oily and meat kind of dry (but well seasoned). The chow mein was tasty and saucy but much too salty for us. Overall I think it depends on your personal taste and what you pick from the menu but it was decent and exactly what we wanted for dinner. I would definitely try it again.

The food was absolutely delicious! Very charming restaurant! My husband and I drove 181 miles and 3 1/2 hours to the Sherpa Cafe, absolutely worth it! I highly recommend this restaurant!

After spending the whole day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort; my friend and I were driving around town and saw this place. The staffs greeted us in. We waited for about 20 minutes before we were seated. We ordered Vegetable Pakora, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Sherpa Stew. WOW! Everything was delicious! My friend and I were impressed with the quantity and quality of food, affordable prices, and outstanding customer service. The wait was definitely worth it and will definitely be back!

We had , garlic cheese bread to start , Excellent !! Then my husband had chicken Fried rice , he said was great , I had chicken Thukpa (Spicey) oh so very good !! Never tried this kind of food really but I believe it will be one of my favorite places to eat . Jackson was very helpful and kind . Helped me figure out what I wanted and he really was Great !! Wonderful experience with him and the restaurant cooks . Would highly recommend this place !! Momo looked very good , we did not have but several people got this and they looked very good and happy . Thank you Jackson for being so helpful !! You did a Great job ! We will be back !!
