Absolutely top-tier dining experience. I visited the location on 3/26 and did the Japanese tasting menu with cocktail pairing and could not have been happier. Taste of the food, service experience, and attention to detail make this place one of my absolute favorite experiences in the city. Think only 610 Magnolia can boast an equal experience, and that’s at three times the price. Could not recommend more heavily, though the location is fairly exclusive, so getting a seat takes some planning. Wonderful establishment.

An intimate setting where you are able to watch two broad-shouldered, fine calved brothers serve up a menu so good that it makes your favorite restaurant seem like they’re plating gas station hotdogs. I’ve secured spots at Num-Tung twice, and both times I found myself immersed in a culinary experience without parallel. You don’t know what the menu will be until the day of your meal, but I promise you, with the expertise of the chefs and an open mind, your palette will be piqued and your stomach rewarded.

There simply are not words yet invented to describe the experience that awaits at Num-Tung. But it would be a disservice to my AP English teacher to not attempt to convey the joys of the throw-back menu.

A truly special dining experience! It’s not easy to get a seat, but if you’re lucky to get a reservation, you are sure to have a unique tasting menu, as it’s everchanging. From a Journey themed meal, to a Fast and Furious themed dinner, to a more simple Medi spread, the chefs there do it all (including fantastic affordable wine pairings). The first time I dined here, I had the best shrimp ceviche of my life. The most recent time, I had a vegetarian bourguignon that I have been thinking about ever since. If you have the chance to dine here, I highly recommend it!

Nostalgia and innovation collide in the “Back To School” menu at Num Tung.

Picture a bustling home-style kitchen staffed by large Germanic brothers. If you’re tired of frills and pageantry for the sake of upping the price tag of a mediocre dish, I can suggest no more refreshing dining experience than Num-Tung. It’s an intimate setting designed for limited, dare I say exclusive seating. Muted and eclectic musical choices provide quiet background noise that mixes with the clink of dishes and the delicious scents from the nearby kitchen.

Decadent seven-course meal prepared by chefs clearly passionate about food and at a great price point. I left the experience with an incredibly full belly and a heart full of gratitude. If you have the opportunity to attend, I recommend you do it.

One of the best meals I have had in Louisville. Great food, lots of variety, well-paired wines. Highly recommended!
