Called at 8:30pm to order some pasta with no answer, so I decided to drive, thinking maybe they were busy. I get there the man with the curly hair is outside talking with a customer. With a sign on the door saying closed for the night I asked what time they close and he responded 8 during the week. I turn and look at the sign that says open daily 11am to 9pm when I tried to point it out he ignored me so I said it a bit louder, and he responded oh I wonder how long it’s said that….. really… after reading reviews I’m kinda glad they were “closed” it won’t be long before they close for good.

I’ve been a few times now, food is great, atmosphere is very relaxed, but last night, was the last time I will go. Our waitress was new, she was very attentive and did a great job. The woman “training” her, was awful! She yelled at her, belittled her, and almost had her in tears, right in the middle of the dining room. Two other tables walked out, we stayed, as did another couple, reassuring our waitress that she was doing a good job. The place wasn’t busy, in fact so slow that they decided to close an hour early. When we tried to let the new “management” know, they were more concerned with how my review was going to sound, than actually taking corrective measures.

Mikes is a great local restaurant and adjoining bar. The staff is wonderful and so is the food. Special requests are never a problem and their fried ravioli is wonderful! The restaurant side is great for families on a budget or that want great pizza! The bar side is friendly and low key.

Steak sandwich was a bit “chewy”. Service was a bit sparse. I imagine it was because we didn’t spend a lot of $$$. But we weren’t extremely hungry. Atmosphere was fine. Not great, not bad.

We went to the bar side for take out , not only was the customer service great the food was delicious. We loved talked to the bar staff while we waited on our food.

First the female wait staff are EXTREMELY friendly. However the food is terrible. Just ordered $55.00 of pizza and wings, and salad. All of it was TERRIBLE. Pizza was cold, wings were TERRIBLE. And then when I was leaving, the owner, (smashed at 6:30) started abusing me when I left for not leaving a tip. I left a $5.00 tip for a $35.00 take out. DONT GO. Nothing there but an upset stomach coming your way. My advice to the nice female staff….:.: look for another job. You deserve it. A totally obnoxious owner.

The service was great, super friendly and my Caesar salad was made to order fresh. The bread knots are AWESOME, rolled in garlic butter and olive oil with parsley on them, excellent. However, that’s where it stopped, I ordered the giant ravioli, it was like canned sauce on it, very bland. I asked for oregano to put on this to give it some flavor. Sorry, but meat sauce is everything in Italian food If this had been homemade it would have been spectacular. That’s why it gets 3 stars.
