I’ve been wanting to try this joint for a couple yrs now, and I finally made it. I mean, I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The oxtails were not worth the $28 I spent for the meal. They were very tender. That’s a plus. But it also wasnt very much meat either. The cabbage was bland but not a big deal because cabbage is good either way to me, so that wasn’t a loss. The rice and peas were a little dry. The cook or owner or whoever she was had a negative vibe but thats on her. The girl taking the orders was nice. I’ve had a LOT of Caribbean dishes from Jamaica to the Virgin Islands to Turks and Caicos and so on. This would be the first time where I would not return. Guess I’ll have to drive to Arlington. Or cook it myself.

Jerk chicken was HOT but flavorful and super tender. I’m going to tear up the bathroom tonight…The beef patty was flaky and buttery. Probably my favorite thing there. The free cookie was a pleasant delicious surprise too. Super cute small restaurant!

Very nice woman in the front recommended the jerk pork so me and my wife order it and it was very tasty! Some of the most tender pork iv ever had. Thebeans and rice were good too! Every thing is pretty spicy so make sure your kids like spice before you bring them here. But I loved it!

I’m glad I chew softly and thoroughly. While the flavors were great on my goat curry, the amount of shattered bone was not acceptable. Some bone is to be expected within reason. However, from tiny shards to easily seen chunks, had I bitten any harder than the gentle, exploratory bites I took, I would have broken teeth. While I loved the flavor of the rice, I would have preferred it not to have been a majority of the box’s weight.

Came to Burleson for a business trip , and I saw this cozy and artsy restaurant . The food was very flavorful and authentic. I tried the spicy Jamaican jerk chicken & salad. I definitely will be back when visiting in Fort Worth sometimes for good food and hospitality!

With real Jamaican food the sizes are very big, this place offers very small child like portions like the ox tail. do not order unless u want all bones! seems like alot of the food is frozen or reused. I spent 65 dollars for 2 people and the beef cakes was the only thing that was edible. I am a foodie and I do alot of food but this is by far the most way under subpar restaurants I am ever visited. do not subject yourself to this place. they should be really ashamed of there hearatige if they put out food like this.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and good customer service. Prices are reasonable for the portions size.

The food is basic at best. Not everyone wants spicy curry. You should not have roti and doubles on your menu if you cannot serve authentic doubles and roti.

Excellent service. Redstripe Jerk Pork is so tender. Plantains almost didn’t make it into the picture! Lol Chicken Roti is best ever. New favorite place in Burleson!

Smallest oxtails I ever had. Cabbage not fully cooked and no restrooms for guests. The place is cute tho.
