It looks like shady place where you might pick up some magic mushrooms on your pizza – but it is actually a wonderful family business and I think they make the best pizza from anywhere around. The people behind the counter are very nice, and be sure to check out “Chad’s” tattoos they are amazing works of art.

Got there, food was ready, but they forgot our fries, which is no big deal things happen…we then waited over 30 minutes for a large fry. They gave us the equivalent of a child’s size mcdonalds fry, which they charged me over $7 for. We then drove back 10 minutes to the house to realize we had a room temperature pizza that was dry and hard. The calzone was decent at best. But THE WORST PART OF THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS… watching them drop a pizza on the dirty floor, picking it up, saying “only a little cheese came of haha” and proceeding to box it up. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PIZZA PLACE AT ALL. You would be better off eating a frozen pizza, and you would actually know whether it hit the floor or not.

I didn’t get my fries with my order. I ordered a sausage peppers and cheese sub and instead got hot garbage. It was sliced sausage, a lump of pepperoni slices for some reason. No peppers. It looked like the reject slices of pepperoni and sausage from pizza making. It was literally inedible. I threw it away.

“It was a dark and stormy night, power was out all over town and we were looking to get a quality pizza.” I couldn’t resist, it really was a stormy night and the power was out at our typical Friday night pizza place. We had to try Winthrop house of pizza not just because they had power, but because they were recommended to us. Overall the pizza was good, but it was different enough from what we normally get. The wings were outstanding. And last but not least, and what will make me return and recommend them, was the service. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and accommodating with our order I can’t say enough good things. Our order was a bit unique and she was able to do everything we asked for and still keep a smile on her face. Even though there was a nasty storm, she still kept a welcoming and positive attitude. We will absolutely go back and I highly recommend this place.
