This was our first time eating at this location and I don’t usually submit reviews after a single visit. With that said, the dishes we had were fantastic! The chicken, red sauce, and beans had a lot of flavor, but the rice left something to be desired. The service was awesome! Our waiter was extremely polite, attentive, and provided the proper level of engagement you’d like to have in a server. Even though we visited close to closing the food came out quickly without a mistake. We will return the next time we are in the area and want Mexican.

I had stuffed poblano pepper, inside has 2 shrimp, onion, cheese, mushrooms and on top is thin slice of beef but it’s bit chewy. I like the black bean soup that comes with the meal, it’s very flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly and tasted pretty good as well. By the way the tortilla chips were pretty hard which is not my favorite.

Highly recommend coming to Rancho Viejo! It was just my second time visiting here and I was left feeling apart of this wholesome family of workers. The food was great, but what surprised me most is just how many servers checked on me to make sure my experience was as enjoyable as possible. Genuinely the most teamwork I’ve seen during such a busy “Taco Tuesday”!!
