Housed in The Historic Fowle building (c. 1818), The Mulberry House is named for one of the first buildings built in the city, the Mulberry Tavern.

We came in on the boat and everything was closed but Mulberry house. I have never been there & to be honest with you I was blown away. From the friendliness of the manager, to the service, to the ambience, and then the food came and I was totally satisfied. I could not be happier and I will certainly be returning. I had the burger and it was spectacular. The potatoes are awesome as well. We were a party of six and everybody was totally happy. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated, and has outdoor seating. It has potential to be an excellent place. The food was good but honestly very pricey for what it is. A lunch size Caesar Salad ($10) with 5-6oz Salmon (+$12) cost $22. It is not super expensive given that they are trying to position themselves as an upper scale local restaurant. That said, there was nothing special with the food. I also grabbed chocolate cake to go. It also has potential to be delicious. The filling and the chocolate sauce are delicious but the cake itself made it obvious that this was made 3-4 days ago. The cake was dry and had the refrigerator scent to it. Also, if they are charging this much for food, the service could be better. Out waiter was nice and cordial, but I came home to a cake boxed up without even putting a liner or anything. Obviously they don’t think how it can be served at home once you pay and leave their place.

First time visit on a weeknight in May. Looks to be like a very interesting place to have a meal – nice vibe. There are various dining options inside and outside. Service was very good. We started with the crab dip, which we both really enjoyed. I very much enjoyed the swiss and mushroom burger. Hubby did not care for his Mallbury Burger but that could have been food overload from decadent eating on vacation. Their potatoes are awesome.

Great place! Wish we could’ve had dinner on the rooftop but still a great experience and all the staff we encountered were VERY nice and willing to help or explain anything and everything, which is pretty rare nowadays! Will definitely be back!

We came here with a fairly large group last night, most of our first time, and it was great. The drinks are really well made, menu had something for everyone, the space is beautiful, and the owners (who were nice enough to give us a rooftop tour) could not have been kinder and more excited about their restaurant. Service was great too. Go!

Tasty Yet Healthy
Oh my, so happy we made this stop for dinner. It was absolutely amazing! We sat on the patio, which had very nice lighting. Started with the Miss Mulberry. Such a beautiful drink, with a pink lemonade taste. We went with the Shrimp and Crab dip for appetizers. Both were superb. Crab dip was full of crab meat and served with delicious, soft, warm pita chips.

The service was wonderful. They were just attentive enough without being pushy but never left us unattended. My salmon was incredible! The tuna tartare was also very fresh and well seasoned. More tuna and a bit less rice would be perfect but it tasted incredible.

My husband and I love coming here whether it’s a quick drink and appetizers or going out to dinner. When we were planning our wedding this was one of the first places we thought of and we are so glad we chose it. Everyone said it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to and the drinks and food were amazing! We were beyond happy with everything! They made planning super easy and accommodated all of our requests! The photos I added don’t do the ambiance justice! The lighting was beautiful!
